I haven't been able to find this thread in years, the title is not really useful for searching. Is there a good name we can use to update the thread title with to make it easier to find?

 

The brand name 变形之星 (Transform Star) is the same as this recent g1 metroplex KO:
KO G1 Metroplex
Are they Jinjiang under a new name or did this new company buy these molds?

Maybe "Jinjiang Dinobots" would've been more accurate but now it seems there is a brand change so I'm not sure.

 

One of the problems with the search engine on TFW2005 is if you search for "Dinobots" and the title says "not-Dinobots" it will not match as it's looking for whole word matches.

BTW, a few years back I grabbed as many early development and prototype images as I could from this thread and put them on the pages for these toys on Wikialpha. So you can go there to see the early renders and prototype images that are mostly broken links in this thread.
