Oh yeah, forgot about those. The military's going to have to create an anti-pigcraft gun.

:)  im surprised no one got the saying when the first pic of iron hide showed up.
People thought it was something other than ironhide. That quote was when megatron shot ironhide. :)

Original Igear figures? There may be hope yet.

I don't exactly prefer the alt mode, but it looks spot on for those who love G1. I might pick up one of them provided there isn't an inherent flaw or anything. Love the head molds though.

Hmmm. That makes them about .5 inches taller than the average ALT.

Actually, I interpretted some of the posts people made about that as them understanding it was from when Ironhide got shot. I know I recognized it from that. Some posters just dismissed it, or tried to see something that wasn't there. (ex. interpretting it as them killing season 1/2 characters & making Season 3 characters or something)

Glad some of you guys like that! I came up with "Till all are fun" for the iGear guys to use as their new slogan to re-introduce themselves to some of the jaded fans or iGear "dislikers" haha. It works since their new approach is to make upgrades and good representations of some G1 goodies for us!

what's interesting about this is that you can really tell the base model they used is masterpiece optimus prime. that said, these look pretty nice.

From earlier reports, they should be around 7.5" in height in bot mode, so they're about Voyager size. Which makes sense given that vans are bigger than cars (plus the Ratchet and Ironhide characters were always shown to be a tad taller than the car Autobots in art pieces and on the G1 show), so they should fit right in with the CHUG aesthetic (and Alternators/Binaltech if that floats your boat), I believe.

But I'm guessing iGear purposefully sized these guys to be in scale with PP-01 (which is an awesomely nice scaled down Prime, perfect for posing and playing with alongside the MP Seekers and MP Grimlock). The PP line may not be MP but damn if they don't look nice together, barring a select few (namely MP-01, MP-02, MP-04, MP-05, MP-09, and MP-10, of course).

As for Ironhide's "mad face", wasn't there a picture of a default blank expression face/head released earlier? Maybe they'll add extra heads like they did with PP-01, and iGear is known for making cool custom heads.

To give an idea of scale...if it is indeed 7.5 inches or 19 cm. This ruler is only 7 inches/17cm. The red line is a half arsed prediction to where they'll reach to in bot mode.

So pretty damn big. Bigger than Classics Prime to say the least. Probably fits in better with their faith leader, or the upcoming MP redux. For a scale nut like me this is awesome.

Rock on. I really do hope these guys do win over some of the naysayers and new fans for iGear. Even I admit I was a bit iffy about PP-01 Faith Leader but I quickly changed my mind when I finally opened him up and saw that the quality of the figure is spot on (Takara mold shrinkage notwithstanding).

That said, I'm still holding out with hope for PP-02 or maybe a retooled mold of Megatron with better engineering than what Takara did, especially with how good Ratchet and Ironhide came out looking. It's a long shot, I know, but I can always dream. XD

Thank you! Now someone digibash in Ironhide with his head at the red line.

And then let's quote that image at least once per page to keep the "What size toys to they fit with?" cycling to a minimum :lol
