Love the new pics fabexmax. Took me quite a while to catch up on this thread from last night. Jeez.

I'm definitely buying Ratchet and Ironhide. And it looks like I might rebuy Faith Leader...

Also, a few people earlier in the thread seem to be confused about the accessories. Fabexmax stated that all those accessories are to be split between both figures.

:lol  Like I said (and got shouted down for) this thing is a GAME CHANGER!

Let's hope the game-change isn't Has/Tak legal finally striking out (I doubt it), but we're going to get at least one amazing product out of the PP line for sure!

Welcome aboard, here's your complimentary pamphlet:

7.5", around $100, multiple heads, repaints/tools coming. C-clip compatible hard points. "Scale" fit depends on personal preference, but see 7.5" above, and check that against the figures you want to place them with

Any yup, might be a good fit!

I will comment and then drop the subject because, as you said, I do not want to make rumour turn into fact.

Faith Leader has been around for about 2 years. MP's take 1-2 maybe even 4 years to go from concept to product. I don't know if the rumour is igear knew going in that a smaller MP Prime was in the works or if they found out after. But the rumour goes that at some point they found out and really pushed out the Faith leaders as to not compete with Takara.

Take it for what you will. If this is rumour or fact it changes nothing because Ironhide and Ratchet are the new definition of Transformers love.

Holy slag! I so want both of them. Forget trying to track down a Classics/Henkei Ratchet, not to mention keeping the Classics Ironhide I have.

This thing looks horrible. Poor design solution, with kibble hell and random detailing here and there. The vehicle mode looks crap too. Why would I need tons of accessories if I can't store them in vehicle mode?

It's nice to see something original coming out from Igear, but they should take design lessons with FansProject and PerfectEffect. Easy pass for me.

I also don't get all the hate towards the Classics toy. It's one of the best IMO.

Wow! these things looks great. They look much better than any other iron hide or rachets ive seen. I wish hasbro or takara hired these guys. These will surely be hot sellers.

they look really good, but ill reserve my compliments until an actual release. i like ratchet more, not a fan of the expression on ironhide. but igear does seem to have outdone itself. congrats.

    Kibble? Really? Where?

And I can see taking design lessons from FP. But from PE? Hell no. Perfect Effect knows how to design cool robot modes but shitty alt modes.

...and I'll re-state this. This is better than any fansproject release to date. A full on update to a G1 character retaining the original look of the character along with the original alt-mode. something that fansprogect have yet to realise with their IP dodging. Igear have proved themselves not to care about such things (hence the coneheads) and have delivered a superior design.

This isn't a not-rodimus, a not-springer, or not-insecticons. This Ironhide and Ratchet, and I applaud Igear for doing such a sterling job.

I'll never understand the scale/where does it fit debate? Masterpiece go with masterpiece, classics with classics, alternators with alternators :p

I want someone to link up with this guy. He had the best designed stuff going around. That Powerglide and Wheelie are the best 3rd party figures so far. Just a shame they are kits and bloody hard to find/expensive.

I'm tempted by these guys however I'm not quite sold. What's the quality on the coneheads like?

Is it too optimistic to think that HasTak will keep pushing out (new)Masterpieces?

awesome info and you saved me from asking it myself:thumbs2:  I usually only go back 2-3 pages on a thread before I ask what I know will be a repetitive question:lol

"I'm too lazy to read" is one of my big pet-peeves, but after being (rightly) chided about snarking about it, I've decided to just pro-actively value-add to the thread by accepting the inherent laziness of most forum readers and just repost the crap out of the relevant data.

But credit to you for being the sort that WILL try to hunt it out before asking :)  :thumb  !

And for the latest readers, here she is again:

7.5", around $100, multiple heads, repaints/tools coming. C-clip compatible hard points. "Scale" fit depends on personal preference, but see 7.5" above, and check that against the figures you want to place them with. Weapons divided evenly between the two versions.

I love these guys but I'd have made 1 design change. I dould have had that knee pad on a double hinge so it could fold down and cover the window on the leg. I think it would give the legs a uniform color and more cartoon accurate look
