I've been looking forward to Protector for a looong time! Can't wait to get that one. I'm VERY pleased to hear they're working on a Bruticus appendage set too!!! I'll definitely be getting that as well. Now we just need a Devastator set!!

 

Protector is out in early 2010.

That is only a few of months away. Yay. I will be buying two. One for Henkei Hot Rod and another to repaint into Shattered Glass Rodimus Prime.

No prob. I was surprised to get the email. I wrote them like, two months ago. The funny thing is, I've since gotten rid of all my FP stuff and the figures they go on. They figure out a "trailer" to put on the Classics Seeker mold to make a Classics Star Sabre (the seeker would need a recoloring) and that I'd go for.

Hm either case........looks like I still got lots of time before they put up preorders for Roddie. I'm wondering how this'll work, almost feel like there'll be a lot of useless stuff laying around, UNLESS they go G1 inspired and use what's left of his trailer for his little battle platform......which makes sense.

yeah, just thought they would have made it public on there website first with something alon the lines of: you thought that the superion kit was good, wait till you get the bruticus one

Great news about the appendage. I have the Superion appendage for both Super Link versions and ROTF version (In SL he did have a brother so I like to consider both of them "brothers"). I'm happy with everything I've gotten from FP and I can't wait for the Protector set.

 

Seeing how there's been no production images but that ONE in vehicle mode, I don't see how entirely. I'm sure some of the parts will be add on pieces to Rodimus' body, but I can't see every piece being so.

 

FP has been known to wait till the last second to reveal a feature
