Does anyone have any inside info on if there will ever be any new KO Reissues? Seems to have dried up pretty good at this point. There hasn't been anything new since the batch of Weirdwolf, Abominus, Computron, Scorponok, and Browning. I don't care who produces them just would like to hear if any more are possibly coming down the pipeline.

Got my package in from sirtoys with the O/s DOTM Megatron in it, and damn is he a sexy beasty. And I agree, he fits in nicely with the Human Alliance toys (and a couple other movie toys).

I've only just realised I meant to shoot some pics with Alts, too, and forgot. Ah, well, c'est la vie.

But here he is with HAs:

I never got into the larger HA releases (I stuck with Scout), but are the cars (Bee, Jazz, Soundwave, etc.) supposed to be 1/24 like the Binaltech & Alternator releases?

I know the human figures aren't (they're closer to 1/35), but the vehicles look larger than the Masterpiece releases (which are around 1/30 for the cars).

hold up - I'll go snap a pic to fit your question...

    ok, here you go.

HA sideswipe next to a 1/18 scale viper

RID sideburn, Masterpiece Prowl, and HA Skids

hope that helps with what you were asking?

I realized I don't have any BT anymore... thought I still had ravage - can't find him

For bot mode at least Megs looks perfectly in scale there. At least it is if his physical size matched his ego. :D

I'm sure you do. Remember Ravage is a stealth expert. You won't find him until he wants to be found.

So, finishing decaling/putting together the last two KO Gestalts I grabbed off T800pro on iOffer - Abominus and Computron. Overall, both are much better than Defensor, but Abominus is the best of the three.

Computron first. Plastic is definitely good but some joints and hinge points are EXTREMELY tight. Since I'm not going to be playing with it and it's more for display, it's fine but I had to wack Scattershots head back in with a rubber mallet to get Computron's head on. And Lightspeed's 'front' felt like it was going to snap off before actually folding down. The big kicker though was that this didn't include any 'factory applied' labels. Definitely a big letdown there since many Autobot symbols are missing and it looks like a decent number of decals are missing because of thi9s across all of the figures.

Abominus, as mentioned, wins overall. Plastic is great, nothing is super tight and only Blot's arms are a bit loose, and all decals were included. Overall, he's the best quality of the bunch and the one I'm happiest with - even if he's the character with the least nostalgia attachment for me.

One thing I didn't mention earlier - Defensor actually had the factory labels applied already. Which was somewhat interesting and the only KO Gestalt I've seen this occur on.

here you go, actually called transblasters... front page when you click on "latest" on the right side scroll screen. :thumb

actually substantially bigger than the planes combiner, which in turn was bigger than the trucks combiner... go bigger or stay home, I guess?

Awesome, duly noted! I tend not to search for Henkei stuff due to the price differences, but this could come in handy. Thanks!

No inside info, but IMHO we've probably seen the last of these G1 KO's, since the money seems to be more with MP KOs instead. Also, FYI: the maker of that Browning KO wasn't the same people making the others. He only made a limited run and had a unique box (I.e not a counterfeit G1 box)

look at the connectors closely... I have almost all of them. the V2 has a hexagonal plug, it will not interchange with any others.

the G2 is almost a clone of the official FOC combiners, but with corners cut.

the multicolor is undersized, feels fragile...

the OS is simplified in the connectors, and really loose - soft plastic...

the V2 feels more brittle, and slightly simplified?...

hope this answers your questions - if you want KoolKO's, you can experiement with these, but if you are looking for FOC quality, either try only the G2/regular version, or buy a used official one.

I'm a bruticus fan, so I HAVE to have them all.

lastly, I can NOT praise the Bruticus Oversized Combaticons enough! :D  sturdier than an official G1/Ruination, solid, and big - stands cannon to cannon with Fansproject's Collosus. and fits perfectly in the G1 shelf, minus the colors of course... just think of it as a G2/BattleGaia cross and you'll love it. (if you can find it anywhere!) :thumb

Thank you! Exactly what I needed to hear. I'll buy a hasbro set. There will be much pin pushing and grinding
    of plastic!
