I recently received the set of fake seacons and was surprised to find that they were not only recolored in colors worse than G2 Menasor, but they were extensively remolded. Here is the first of the set, Skalor. I like to call the KO Red Herring.

As you can see in the comparison, Red Herring is about the same size and transformation , but he's completely a new mold - all the proportions, detailing, joints, etc are different. He's like he's based on a 3D scan of the original toy that someone then figured out the for separately . All the pegs for the guns and fist/foot holes are different sizes from the original, so don't expect to use real Seacon accessories on him, or expect his to work on a real Skalor without drilling them out. He has one simplification that severely hampers him, his head is now part of the body, as opposed to being able to hinge down. This makes him unable to go into Scramble City arm mode, and his Targetmaster mode lacks a handle. So he can only become a robot, a fish monster, or a Scramble City leg. Like all the KO Seacons he lacks the 3 piece Targetmaster stand, which makes sense for him since he can't form a gun fully anyways. He does come with his two handguns, which can still combine and form his Targetmaster mode when plugged into his chin, but again, the gun will have no handle.

Note: I started added the new reprolabels white outline style stickers part way though taking pictures, so some pictures have them with which outline Decepticion stickers. Those are not standard.

The KO Seawing is one of the more interesting remolds of the set. I like to call him Wingding. Wingding has resized wings which are much smaller than the original mold, making him look almost SD in proportion, but the robot is about the same size outside the wings.

There are also two improvements and one change in the mold from the original. There are now a set of holes in the tops of the wings which allow you to mount his weapons there, which actually makes sense since his wings are so tiny they barely fit under them on the holes there. There is also an added hole on his robot chest, which is the manta ray belly. This allows you to mount one of the combiner's feet under the body. This can be used to store the foot when they are in beast mode, and can be used as a substitute stand for his Targetmaster mode.

One change from the original mold is the peg on his robot mode chest. On the original toy is flips up and out. On this toy it flips DOWN and out. Meaning it's final position is lower on the arm, making the combiner have a shorter arm.

The toy is fully capable of robot, beast, arm, leg and gun modes, although it lacks the three pieces to mount Targetmaster on, you can use a real toys parts and they work fine. Since the KO Seacon set lacks fists, you can put his gun in his wrist hole as a fist, or if you have something else for a fist, the guns mount on the folded wings.

Although he could form any limb of the combined mode, the fact that KO Skalor and Tentakil can only form legs makes his position as an arm more necessary for the combined form.

As per the other KO Seacons, I opted to add reprolabels white outline faction symbols.

KO Tentikil, or Feeler as I call him, has one major simplification from the original mold. The peg that comes out of his robot mode chest is molded out, so he is unable to form an arm, and any weapon mode lacks a handle. Other than that he only has slight detail changes, and of course wild colors!

His weapon and accessory holes are all custom sizes, so you can't swap accessories with the original toy.

Like Skalor, he has to form a leg of the combined mode, but he can be either leg of course.

So I found these trio of "Inter Change" robots in a small store in Downtown Paterson... very curious looking set of figures. Never saw TFs that looked like them. If anyone knows what they're based off of, be it their head sculpts or the bot format, I would appreciate the info.

They were 5ish a piece, so grabbed them.

Unfortunately... they're pretty much Shellformers. I was surprised that the plastic was decent, and the paint apps good. The arms for all of them are relatively poseable, but for 2 out of the 3, their legs are very limited in articulation. Overall I say the sets are good for parts fodder. They're a tad bigger than typical Deluxes like Classics Ramjet.

Here's a quick rundown of them... starting with their car modes. Major pain in the *** to peg their car kibble in the right places. The pegholes are too tight a fit, extremely tough to peg/unpeg them. They're durable enough to transform... but you need A LOT of force to do so.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

They've curious face sculpts. The only recognizable one is the Minivan, which is definitely a Prime head.
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    The red jeep:

The Jeep looks pretty darn nice. The bot looks nice. Head has zero articulation, and the chest piece involves partsforming. Leg lacks articulation outside knee bending. Interestingly, his hands do swivel, which is unique amongst the three.

Last but not least... the yellow guy.
A *very* kibbly bot... second pic pretty much shows 80% of the car kibble is tabbed onto his back. Removing the piece from the tab reveals a pretty neat looking bot. The arms are by far the best of the three. Ball joint + hinge allow the most poseability. The arm sculpt is the most detailed. Worst feet of the trio, knees bend in reverse to stand up.

Of the trio... Last and not least, the Prime-looking bot:
As you can see, he's got sizeable kibble bits on the legs floating around. They're easily removeable. He's the only one to support head and leg articulation.

Last and definitely least... KO SKY GARRY and he's extreme lankiness!

Oh, and also here's some KO Gestalt combiners... not familiar with the Japanese only G1 bots, but I know they belong to a couple of them...
    [IMG][IMG]

Actually found some KO Movieverse toys... at first at Center City in a toy store selling them for the absurdly high price of 40$. Obviously didn't buy them.
    [IMG][IMG]

At the same place I saw these curious guys... They're Oversized Micromaster Combiner frames... with Cybertron Robot Limbs!? Their quality looked soooo bad... so I opted out of it. Also, the same store was trying to sell for 25$. Skipped.
    [IMG][IMG]
The first set features Vector Prime for Arms, Starscream for Legs, and Soundwave as the Chest. The second set has Hot Shot as the Arms, Optimus as legs, and not sure as who the chest is.

The place I bought the Inter-Change robots did have the above figures at half the price of the ripoff store mentioned earlier... but I really didn't like how they looked.

They are part of the gestalt Liokaiser, I bought it on 3 packages with 2 bots each, and of course, without the head:

Meanwhile, I adquired another one, mini-size, but with head included (on the right):

they were in the same packaging as the constructicon and aerobots two packs, for four dollars, at biglots.

Don't know if these Liokaiser "quick change" double packs are actual size, the gestalt reaches about 16 cm height (obviousily without the head).
