How's the quality on that thing? It looks awesome!

I recently received a KO Sharkticon Gnaw from YaHobby. Unfortunately the packaging was a little smashed, but fixable.
The figure itself is really good quality. I honestly wouldn't be able to tell it apart from a G1 original. So if anyone is on the fence about these things, go for it!

Anybody know how the quality on the G1 Devastator (The one they're selling at YaHobby) is? I might go for that one as well..

Quality of Gold snaptrap is great imo. You won't feel afraid to transform him for fear of chipping since the makers already factored in the chrome, & is not added as an afterthought.

 

Yeah the quality is about 80-85% that of a normal toy or the UBER-KO. The UBER-KO is my term for all the supreme KO like the Gnaw, g1 cassettes, Optimus Prime etc all in the G1 accurate packaging from china oh yeah also Mirage and dinobots.

The KO Gold Snaptrap wasnt that expensive. shipping cost more than the toy haha. There are slight issues like the combiner fists dont have the inserts so it cant hold the sword or gun. There are minor QC issues with the gold chrome but nothing horrific. some parts are not quite put together well so it is a little tight and I needed to go in and fix those problems.

 

I need to get pics of all my TF KOs and post up here.

 

are those gold snaptraps easy to come by? I want one now as well!

 

Not really. I think Jasonjupiter said that the last one went for over 100 dollars on ebay.

I just tracked down the MagiRangers combiner a few months ago. I saw the pics on the card and ALMOST bought that white Centaur KO on the spot. Sucks that they raised their KO prices(!!) from $10 to $13. I was going to pick up the RiD Galvatron until I saw the pricetag. Grr.

White KO PM Prime, no armor, trailer doesn't transform but the little race car does. Great quality for a KO.


Buddy L Pickup TF. Not a KO, but cool anyway. Heavy, mostly diecast and thick plastic.
Fire TF...diecast and heave plastic. Broke one of the arms transforming it but cool anyway


Halloween colored KO Movie Prime. Completely different and simple transformation, haven't taken him out of the package so don't know how the quality is.

the korean prime is pretty cool, especially the green plastic windows. the little race car is a simplified and remolded version of blacker from road caesar and the other gun is from godbomber.

 

SunnyDay, please say that you will remove those "M"s from his chest! Otherwise, it looks great. For Ultra Magnus, I mean.
