Jizai toys?

So what's the deal with these guys? are they like model kits you construct and paint your self?? and how would I get these guys, the sites all in question marks??????? does anyone know about how much each of these guys costs?

They're resin kits that you have to build yourself, down to drilling the screwholes.

Extremely extremely limited runs, usually sold by the Jizai guys themselves at Japanese conventions in one shot.

Oh, so it's near impossible to get one now??

Unfortunately so, they're sold at Wonderfest in Japan, Jizai get a one day license to sell their TF product at Wonderfest (as do other companies), but can't sell them after that day, as technically they would be infringing the TF copyright.

I really fancy the Ratchet, so hope to find a way to get of hold of one, a trip to Japan seems excessive!

Finished and painted versions of the figures do pop up on eBay once in a while, but naturally they're not cheap. Really not cheap. That's the price you pay for having rare garage-kit figures from Japan available to you totally finished (and well-done, from what I've seen).
