Looks kinda perfect.

 

Interesting...Agree about the short cannon, lol and the hip skirts look a bit weird too. Other than that, looks better than the MT version and if those two areas were fixed, potentially better looking than the XTB version. Impressive work considering how bad most other DX9 figures look to me.

 

I'm not one for line drawings...but, if they can pull that off, color me interested. I can forgive the hip skirts, but that cannon definitely needs work.

 

Wow, that looks good, way better than Crapollyon, we know it'll definitely beat it in the quality department.

Hmm...I'm liking this better than Maketoys design. If they can adjust the size of the scope, and that line art for the face is accurate on the actual figure, I may be in for one of these.

 

Big maketoys fan but their Megatron take is not for me. This on the other hand I can dig. If it's anything like the WIP mightron it will be great.

 

Kinda just looks like a less cool Despotron honestly and yeah that arm gun is way too short and weirdly pudgey haha.

Ah well DX9 do good stuff so nice to see some actual competition for MP meg's finally. Seems like its gonna be nice.

 

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.................. okay I'm watching.

 

The lineart looks like a blend of Apollyon and Despotron. Waist, chest, shoulders, and feet are very similar to Apollyon, but the forearms and overall proportions are closer to Despotron. The circular details on his laterals are also, as far as I can tell, a Apollyon-specific detail.

What exactly is going on here?

 

I have no interest in line drawings. If I believed the toy would look like this, it would have no knee joints.

There's just too much missing to take it remotely seriously until they progress.

That said, he'll probably be worthwhile, but probably look inferior to Appolyon (just based off Dx-9's body of work so far).

Interesting, I like it more than MT and Apollyon, now I need to see more.

This looks really impressive and more toon accurate in the sense flatter shoulders instead of gun shaped shoulders, flat blocky legs instead of kibble etc, but there's something about it overall that I'm not digging.

Comparing it to Apollyon, it doesn't have much presence to me. It ticks more little boxes than Apollyon does, but I still think Apollyon looks more menacing overall.

Looking forward to a video review!

 

The lineart kinda intrigued me, but they've lost me with the prototype pics (wow, that was a fast turnaround). Too boxy. Loses most of the curves that Megatron should have. Pretty much the same issue as most DX-9 designs.

 

Looks like it is ready to go. The instructions all are printed and ready.

 

It looks like the canon can expand and collapse. If you want a longer arm canon, just extend it.
