https://youtu.be/zCUm2SxLuys So, the red plastic on TESLA seems to be suffering. Mine has quite a few cracks starting, but not as bad as this. I'm taking pictures of mine as I type this. There's also cracking on the posts inside the chest, but I can't get them to show up on camera
Mine is probably the most stress marked figure in my collection.. In fact they're full on cracks in a few places. People that gave Warbotron shit for their Bruticus have nothing on my Tesla!
Mine has had cracks on the screw channels inside the chest cavity since day 1. I can't say they've gotten any worst with time though. There's never been any stressing or cracking on the outside of the figure (arms, legs, etc).
Tesla is probably my least favourite FT offering. I hope that Perfect Fusion can give us a better Perceptor. That being said, I haven't had any issues with mine cracking. I haven't transformed him because I don't see the point in transforming objectformers.
Mine has a bunch of spider-web cracks at various points - it's done nothing since I bought it but sit on my S3 Shelf - but nothing has fallen off it yet which means it beats MP09 thus far. It's the least interesting FT product I own so that may help its longevity.
Mine, too. I didn't want to go through the hassle of exchanging it, since there was only one or two minor imperfections, but NOW I worry about it. The OP's copy looks like it has plastic shearing off and cracking!
Mine did the same starting with the arm. I got a new arm from the seller and it started doing it as well. I'm considering the figure lost cause because i lime to change them back and forth in my collection. Even some of the best 3p vendors have some bad ones.
Fanstoys has the perfect opportunity to re-issue this to improve the plastic and get the new face sculpt most are asking for. Get it done!
This is good news for me, as I require parts from the waist down for a kitbash, but I didn't want to pay the $100+ for a whole one. But that sucks to hear for other people.
All companies can mess up at times. The important thing is how they handle the fallout. I'm anticipating what FT's response is going to be.
This is heartbreaking. Perceptor is one of my favorite autobots and it boggles me that we have more than 5 companies going Springer yet no one else has attempted Perceptor.
