While not strictly related to Transformers, it seems Perfect Effect are doing a 3P Figure based upon Diaclone..?

Not sure if this is the correct thread for discussion, though Diaclone are Pre-Transformers, so the Mods can decide from here!

 

Actually it is. That's the Brain of Courage for Star Saber. They just added a robot to support the Diaclone Reboot line.

 

A bit of a mixed bad then, especially with Diabattles V2 in the background.

 

Please tell me more about this character. I'm interested in this release but I'm not familiar with the original. Thanks!

Robotman/Biotron

 

NOT DIACLONE, it's MICROMAN. Plus since Brain of Courage is from Transformers: Victory, it's Transformers related.

It's Biotron from the Micronauts, also called Robotman from Microman, probably the first transforming toy robot toy from Takara, 1975!

You might also recognize him from his long run in Marvel Comics Micronauts comic as the pilot of the hero's ship.

This guy was made with a ton of 5mm ports and a motor in the chest, and working treds. A parts former, not a transformer, but tons to fun to mix with parts from other sets.

I hope they do Microtron too!

He was also recolored as Cosmobot in 1980 for the Inter-Changables line.

And knowing PE, they'll want $100 for it too.

There is another Transformers connection. Robotman appeared as a special move for the Microman in the video game DreamMix TV World Fighters, a game that also had Optimus Prime and Megatron in it!

I'm into this. Hoping it's under $50. If it is, I'll probably buy 2 or 3. Esp if they do re-colors. They should do a re-tool onto a Phobos version!!

That is definitely their Brain of Courage mold as "Star Pilot" standing in for Time Traveler. Maybe it will be colored differently if it comes with not-Robotman?
