I had Toyworld's Concrete, and he was a great quality figure. But I ended up selling him. Apart from the build quality, he just doesn't follow the MP aesthetic at all (imo).

 

As others have said, it is supposed to be Jetfire/Omega Supreme based on blacked out images.

personally, im down but i can only IMAGINE how fucking expenive Omega will be O_O.

This! Toyworlds set just doesn't do it for me.....at all! The size is the only thing I really like about it. Those proportions,that head,the waist,the translucent plastic...etc...etc. Hell...I'd be happy if someone just took the UW design,up scaled it a bit,added a bit of die cast and articulation to the individual bots and just re-engineered Long Haul!

Well obviously we've got Hound coming soon. Skyfire and Omega Supreme are happening eventually. We've got their versions of Galvatron, Scourge, and Cyclonus in the pipeline. Their Hot Rod looks nice, but I think Takara did a great job with theirs honestly. I agree with most and think they should tackle either the Constructicons and/or Jazz next. I'd like to see them maybe do a Trailbreaker also.

How about an MP Sky Lynx, or those decepticons that made robots when they combined. I think they were called battle trap and flywheels...

I mention this for two reasons.

1. Who wouldn't want MP styled versions of these figures?

2. FT could use them as a test bed. See what works when combining the two halves. Learn from it, then segway into full MP scaled combiners.

I'd love for FT's to announce plans to do the full line of combiners. I'd just be concerned their first outing would suffer as many other 3p's first combiners have.

Oh and for the love of all things, scramble city style limbs please.

 

Not a bad idea actually. I think if using that frame of thought, Sky Lynx would be a smarter idea to do first before Omega Supreme. I'll probably be hung for it, but I think it would get us a better Omega in the long run. And it would be quite a long run at that.  

 

I have no doubt that Takara will make Trailbreaker and that I'll buy it and love it, but I still would absolutely buy a FansToys Trailbreaker. The diecast alone would make it worth it, not to mention the chrome and paint job. I hope they make one.
