They did awesome with their Constructicons, but I am not feeling this nor their Kup.

Same here. They seem very stylized and not very MP-like. I feel like TW is simply trying to get a piece of the MP market before it's too late.

This Springer does nothing for me. Looks clumsy and unlike the character I remember from the cartoon.

 

Got really excited when I saw the thread title... and damn, that faded quickly. He looks more like Octane than Springer. Head's not right, legs aren't right, and the shoulders look like the botcon figure from about ten years ago. Dammit.

 

It looks okay. Not really feelin the head sculpt. Maybe it'll look much better in colors.

 

I predict they'll announce an equally near-miss Arcee within the week.
Great to see someone tackling these but the design trends here are just weird.

 

Wow, those are some short thighs.

 

Head too tall/skinny IMHO. Needs to be a little bit more "bowl" shaped, if that makes sense.

 

Who's gonna spring on this?

 

I really would like a solid MP Springer....this is not it.

Eh, I'm still happy with my Hasbro Generations version. He scales nicely with the car bots.
