Yeah it's a pretty disappointing figure, I'd wait and see what BC come up with if I were you.

I just found out about this reissue. This is absolutely fantastic news.

 

For the price you could sell him today, you could afford two (maybe three) more when the reissue comes out.

 

Of course, you might have to wait two (maybe three) years for the reissue. It appears that it is not a high priority for Badcube at the moment....

 

My two (maybe three) cents is that it won't be that long. They've been responding to requests about it on their FB and have said that Huff is first, then Brawny. And in a separate post said that Brawny would be reissued this year. They've also hinted that Pipes could be their next project, which makes sense with the whole Huff re-issue (though they said they want to make him and Pipes have a different transformation, like they did with Gears and Slick).

 

From what I'm noticing, Huff 2.0 and the Brawny reissue don't appear to at the top of the priority list for BC. It would be nice if they were though.

 

I feel for the people who missed out, but I'd rather see them make new
stuff.

There really isn't anything left I want from G1 though ... would absolutelty love to see their attempt at an Arcee though.

How much is Brawny and a decent condition Huff going for nowadays?

I'd rather see someone make a less tubby Brawn. As for Huff...I'd be interested if they did an XTB Ollie 2.0 discount...otherwise I'm not pumped to drop another $70 on him even though he's a great design. BadCubex's best design, IMO.

 

I really really really really really really need a new Huffer. Please!

I sold both back in November and got $160 for Brawny and $120 for a fucked up Huff

 

I asked them about Pipes from their faceboook page and they are also making one of the big guys after Huffer- Brawn and Pipes. I hope it is going to be Blaster or Perceptor.

 

If, as has been said, BC need to completely redo the mould for Huff, there's probably a good chance they'll tweak the design using the knowledge accrued over the last resort years to improve it. They'd probably also be in a good position to do the Pipes remould at the same time, just like they did with Gears and Swerve, TB and Hoist etc. My only downer is they may decide to do a straight reissue of Brawny and not use the chance to tweak him. He's okay but compared to current 3P tech he's looking a bit dated.

 

I want quickly Brawny and Huffer because I am near to finish the season 1 g1 Autobot collection masterpiece colllection.

I miss;

1. Skyfire (target: FansToys Phoenix coming out in april)
2. Sludege (hoping for Gigapower in this year)
3. Swoop (probably I will buy the FansToys)
4. Mirage (I love the dark blue Sphinx but I can't find him at rasonable price. If it doesn't come out in summer, the lighter blue vesrsion could be a good replacemtent)
5. Trailbreaker (next purchase of march, Badcube)
6. Gears (same as Trailbreaker)
7. Brawn ( waiting for Bad Cube reissue or another company)
8. Huffer (same as Brawn)

 

Yep, they will probably do better to reissue them sooner before other manufacturers release alternatives.

 

They'd better not drag their feet too long with Huff 2.0, Pipes, and Brawny reissue because if another company, especially FansToys announces those guys, it's a wrap.

 

A surprising number of people might even consider XTB if they continue to improve their QC.   Their designs are generally pretty good.

 

I can see it happening with KFC as their qc truly has improved but I wouldn't say the same thing about XTB's quality.
