Alternate head, waist, van doors, tires, new hinge, and is designed so the doors attach to the torso, instead of the waist.

Wow, that face looks horrible (IMO). Otherwise cool for those that really don't like the side skirts.

 

$40, nah.
He looks better there is no doubt but you can get virtually the same look with a screwdriver and 5 minutes tinkering.

 

Wow, half the figure price. I think I am fine with the hips.

Looks okay. Those duck lips are bad. Wouldn't pay $40. Maybe $20-25.

 

Not digging the head and I'm concerned about the paint and detailing matching on the body panels. It should be too hard to just add the official one's panels to the new parts and have it match perfectly. Will keep on eye on this.

 

The side panels alone I'm in for. The head will stay in the box. Should drop the head and do a dual pack of doors for Ratchet.

Or. Ratchet's version should come with a comic head for the guys that want the sunburnt look.

 

Not sure why they just didn't do that in the first place....

 

I've been fine with Ironhide previously, but this does interest me a bit. As TB touches on, skipping the Ironhide head in favor of Ratchet doors and a Ratchet comic head would be a nice all-in-one option, especially with Ratchet due this week.

For a nominal fee you could always obtain this;

 

head upgrade was not necessary but they've got my attention.

 

40 bucks is pretty steep, but on the other hand... those side panels do look fantastic.

 

That head is awful but the rest is exactly what I wanted.  

 

40 is too much, especially since most won't use the head. Do a package for both IH and Ratchet at 40$ and you got a deal.
