So is this gonna be Hasbro Metroplex sized? If so, I know who will soon be on the chopping block. Hasbro Metroplex is OK for his size but as a toy I think the G1 version is way better. I'd gladly take a better version at that size.

60cm is over 2 feet, just like Hasbro Metroplex.

Jesus. I have Dystopia, but I may need to double dip on this depending on price. If it has improvements, and it's under $200 this will be a must-buy.

Strange that it seems to be only Maketoys product that gets knocked-off so often.

Yup. This has shot up very high in my want list. He's a big chunky fella too so at 24" he'll be massive.

The listing says 899 yuan, which is $138.66, PLUS SHIPPING.

I'm curious why they mention Iron Factory in the listing. It may be they intend to include the Iron Factory Sixgun and Slammer? (oversized?)

This part sounds like it comes with Sixgun and Slammer from Iron Factory, plus it will have faction symbols...

What would make me happy is if they snuck on combiner wars ports on the arms and legs so you could make "Super Strong Metroplex" mode.

So the recolor will be released first?

If that's the case, I hope it sells well enough for them to put the Metroplex version out as well.

Metroplex would sell alot better, always puzzled me why they do the repaint first.....like with Reximus for example.

That's a sales technique Hasbro uses too these days. Release the less popular version to get the impatient people who want the mold to buy it, then release the more popular version second , and you fool some people into buying it twice. That's why we get Buzzsaw before Laserbeak, Stripes before Ravage, Blaster before Soundwave, Sentinel Prime before Astrotrain, Leader Ultra Magnus before Optimus Prime, Leader Thundercracker before Starscream, etc.

Plus in third party figures, it allows them to make the mistake on the less popular version. "Oh, it had loose ankles, better fix that before we release Utopia!" for example.

That's fair enough, makes sense from that perspective.

*keeps hand in pocket till Metroplex goes up*

It also said the previous planned normal size Metroplex is now cancelled, only oversized one will be available...

This is very interesting. I would wait for Metroplex colors, but then again, I dont think I currently have room for this and my wife's reaction. A downsize would have definitely worked for me, but i doubt it will have as much demand as the oversize one to Titan size. Looking forward to some video review of the repaint.
