Tried to see if this has been posted, but couldn't find a thread. Fusion Cannon and whole new right arm for ROTF Leader Megatron, with a light. Incorporates in tank mode as well. Looks great! Its a nice companion to the UFO Mega arm that came out not long ago.

Looks cool but honestly I'd appreciate a whole new figure for ROTF Megatron. I realize I'm in a minority but I really liked that design and the official figure is based on an older model and not the finalized one. I'd love a 3rd party to tackle the final model (which I'm not sure if it triple changed or was just a flying tank) and give us movie collectors the Megatron worthy to stand with our Optimus.

It looks like this just replaces the right arm and leaves the left scrawny arm touched. But it appears to have a detachable cannon and arm that connects to the shoulder as well as a tank barrel for alt mode.

So bought.

 

Hmmmm...I'll have to grab mine off a shelf and see how easy it is to take the arms off? If it's simple, then I'm at least interested.

Same. We got five Movieverse Megatron molds (six if you count that Galvatron) and I'm not fully satisfied with any, especially when I stand it next to RotF Optimus.

 

If I'm not mistaken there was already a replacement for the left arm anyway. Sucks for the wallet but you CAN replace both arms with separate kits.

 

Of course I'd now have to go find the old kit. I never picked it up because that arm was the least of my problems with him. But this goes far enough to at least make me consider it.

Definitely agree with those saying we should just get a new figure that was based off the finalized design for ROTF Megatron. But I do think that this kit, and the previous left Mega Arm by UFO, go a long way in helping how the existing figure looks.

This one is neat in how it works. The Fusion Cannon/Death Lock Pincer looks really nice and detailed. The fact that it can also switch to the regular arm is a welcome choice. Plus, the existing arm should be very easy to detach due to it popping off fairy easily on a hinge joint used for transformation.

 

I already got the left arm kit with the dark energon megs (yeah, I was late to the party  )

With this arm all I need is a new head for it to look good. Though I've always wished the figure was 1-2cm taller...

 

I might be tempted to track down the old arm upgrade......

Have the other (scrawny) arm upgrade, would definitely be on for this!

Would prefer a solid preorder with a US etailer though.... Have been burnt in prepay-up-front ones like this before...

 

What happened if you don't mind me asking and I think I'm gonna get the KO of this and try it out, this arm looks awesome.

 

I'm actually really happy about this. I remember posting exactly this on one of the boards several months ago. Got the UFO replacement hand for the Dark Energon Megs and noticed how crappy the actual cannon arm was - no articulation! I was pretty much fine with the rest of the figure since I was going to keep it mostly in bot mode anyway, just those arms were god awful!

On a separate note, I apologize ahead of time - anyone know where I can find the link to the thread about that 3rd CW Megs upgrade kit currently being worked on? I'm super excited about that one too!

 

Wasn't going to worry about this until it got closer to happening, but given how excited you guys are just to have an arm to add on to that not great figure, I figured this would probably really excite you.

None the less the arm is exciting. I may pick it up myself. Undecided. If I like ROTF leader megatron just a little more it would be a no brainer. It will help a lot.

 

As cool as the dual model kit type stuff is, I like messing around with my figures. I have Revoltech Prime and it costs way too much for what it is imo.

 

That is a point, and Prime 2.0 wasn't cheap. He is however the nicest piece in my entire collection so I'm very excited to get the best version of movie Megatron (FINALLY) to match.

 

I would totally like that 4ever Megatron, but I really want this upgrade for Leader Megatron. Just helps it so much and really, along with the previous UFO arm, fixes the major parts of that mold.
