Wow, that's a ridiculous paint job.

 

This is an improvement but still not what I want as a 3p ver of this character. There's a lot of room for improvement in design, imo. Really that's not an attack, BC loyalists. I'll give respect where respect is due. I just want different. Too close to my classics for my taste.

 

That's awesome. I kind of hope I'm not able to get one though, since it'll make me want weathered versions of everything else.

 

That is sexy. Would stick out like a sore thumb amongst other 'clean' figures but it's still sexy.

Yeah, I'm not clear what is involved in trying to win one.

I certainly might be interested if I understood.

 

They might give away a couple for hype, but I'd suspect they're going to distribute this the way they did with their clear bug value pack. To a few specific distributors, and at a higher price. I'd guess.... $150-200.

 

My initial thoughts as well. But it looks amazing in alt mode just the same.

So was this the project they were teasing? Or is this like an in-between deal until the next project? I don't think it is but just checking...

I wish they would have done an Army Green version, in camo. I think the camo one was in the instruction book. These guys are doing re-paints right.

 

LOL. This. I am not going to get weathered ANYTHING. Not opening that can of worms.  

I'd love to see MOBAT or Mauler decos though. I probably wouldn't buy them, but I'd love to see them.  

 

I would absolutely love to see 3rd parties do some GI Joe crossovers, assuming they transform into actual transformers and not giant mech versions of GI Joe characters like Hasbro did with the Star Wars crossover line.
