Still not sure where to put an Autobot logo on Sphinx

 

Finally got a chance to use that nifty little gift cert they sent me (thanks guys, you rock!). Kinda bummed they still don't have a set for Provider, but maybe that's part of the February update in March. lol.

 

hmm, wish there was Commotus. I may get Spartan, not sure though.

 

might finally get some of these, that Bruticus set isn't too pricy and looks good

 

Bruticus is pure awesomeness!

...and although I don't own the figure, maaaaaan, that Gundog set looks amazing!

Will prob get Quakewave too. I like some of the accents on it.

All of those stickers for Bruticus, but they couldn't have made one to cover up those Hasbro production numbers on his leg?

 

Dang, the Bruticus set looks ultra-slick! Love how it's mostly just small details that really compliment the figures (though personally, covering up the stock chest deco on Blast Off looks worse than leaving it as-is with that nice, big Decepticon badge). Will need to pick it up once I get an Onslaught and Brawl.

Also, a question to anybody who has used Reprolabels sets for CW figures regarding stickers on the combiner pegs in the chests of most deluxes - will they be damaged if applied and then the peg is slotted into the torso sockets?

 

Nope, they won't. In actuality, you have a choice of one of the four sides of the combiner peg to be sticking up, where it's not in contact with anything.

I usually chose the side where the sticker is attached to be the side facing up; obviously.

So short answer, no.

 

Ah, I figured as much, though at the same time I guess it kind of takes a bit of the fun of combining out if you need to make sure the no-contact side is the sticker each time.

 

No Autobot symbol for Sphinx? I have a silver backed one on mine now but the slope in his chest reflects too much light and looks a bit cheesy next to other MP's. The clear backed ones are great but will show the ELL logo through it.

 

Well that adds a Takara "cartoon" look to the chest of Bruticus, so it really is Blastoff to be the UW vs CW choice.

Also, its funny how Evil Lord has so few stickers because of the insane detail anyway.

I wonder why they didn't do the autobot insignia on Mirage?
