I've seen these before, because I commented how the compartments look like bagged ice bins.

 

If the panel were bigger, the holes were eliminated, and there were edge pieces to go around the base to give it a cleaner look, this would be excellent. As is, I can't really see getting it. Good effort though.

I like it. They need more sets to make this worthwhile though; large displays and consoles as well. Due to how they molded the individual wall pieces I think that would be best as there are no flat spaces large enough for a huge Teletran 1 sticker.

 

I really hope this does well enough for them to work on add-ons like end and corner pieces to remove the jagged incomplete puzzle look and more variety than just cybertonian garbage bins. Maybe make clips that go in to the holes to hold weapons/accessories. Might even look cool to add some LEDs in the back to light up the holes.

 

don't know If I want wall pieces...what's going to sell me on this is seeing it in a detolf, preferably with a toyhax stage instead of wall pieces.

 

No holes, and needs more panel variety options so you can build out more of a fully realized ”base” to your own liking.

I wonder what made the price jump from $32 to $49. At $49 I was hoping to get these one at a time but I noticed the Decepticon set preorder sold out. Hopefully X2 Toys keeps pumping these out for a while.

Pricing is still $32.90...just checked. As cool as it looks, you will need like 5 sets at least to stand a small team.
