I would like to hear opinions on this line, as I for one absolutely adore it, and with Maketoys' shift into the 3P Masterpiece arena, I'm worried that it will die out. As I'm primarily an IDW/CHUG-style collector, most of the products I buy come from either Maketoys or MMC, and I'd hate to see one of the most solid companies forget about their IDW fanbase and cater solely towards MP collectors, who already have far more options (I'm not in any way, shape, or form bashing MP collectors).

I really want this line to continue as I believe it has so much potential. Maketoys' could deliver a Pipes, Rodimus, Drift, Whirl, Chromedome and Rewind, Rung, Megatron, the list goes on. I for one would purchase everything that this line has to offer, and have created this thread in the hope that there are many more like me that can show to Maketoys' that the Manga Mech line has a massive following.

There are zero people who don't want this line to continue. Useless poll

If they continue the line, and it contains stuff I like, then absolutely I'll buy it.

If they continue the line and make stuff I don't like, then I won't buy it but others will definitely do so since IDW is in vogue right now.

I have not bought a single figure from this line and I still want it to continue. I love how both sets they've released look thus far and if they finally release Pipes and Huffer, or dare I say, Guzzle I'd be in heaven.

Guzzle would be an excellent one to fit with the smaller bots they're currently doing. :)

I'd love a rendition of Pipes, but I wouldn't complain if we got Guzzle :)

Sure, why not? Despite not owning a single figure from this line, I like how the cool IDW aesthetic that MakeToys are going for makes all of these little guys unique, even if a figure is a retool.

I haven't bought any, only from Mmc, but if they make something I like, then I will consider.

If it comes down to what I want to see Maketoys release, I'd vote for them to finish SG Quantron above all other project.

Well one Guy proved you wrong already. It's just an excuse to remind MT and the World that not everything has to be All MP All The Time - and nothing wrong with that.

I want Pipes and anyone else this Line could get around too, and I'd like them before 2020 please.

Make that two! ;)  But yeah, I'm so happy that overall, there's overwhelming support for this line. I really think the IDW designs are so refreshing, I'm sick of everything having to fit MP criteria all of the time. :)

I picked up Trash talk and cog wheel and loved them both. I'd like to buy their tailgate but I'm having a hard time justifying dropping 60 bones on 1 figure and an upgrade set I'll never use. If the price is right and I'm interested in the character id love to see it continue

I can understand that. I still need to get a BiS Cyclonus! :D

I like how the one of the poll answers don't actually relate to the thread title.

    "Should the lime continue?"

"No coz I don't buy them."

I don't buy tampons (what with being a man) yet you don't see me demanding the termination of the production of tampons.

Why someone not buying a line demands the lines termination?

    Anyway love their trash talk.

The question for the poll is actually "Are you a fan of the Manga Mech line?", so the two options do indeed relate to the question being asked. Thank you for your input regardless. :)

This is how I feel as well. I love Maketoy's design aesthetic and it seems like the ones from this line are very cool looking and well made. I would own Trash Talk if he was sold individually, and I would definitely support the line if they expanded it to guys like Rodimus, a full Cyclonus (not just add-on parts), Rung, Nightbeat, Nautica, and Whirl.

I'm not necessarily waiting for specifically IDW renditions. But since the Manga Mech line is producing figures of familiar characters in something other than strict G1/toon designs, I'm all for it to continue.

These have been the best thing MT have done. They are perfect and they should finish with Huffer/Pipes in the least.
