    Remember when this was released? It is such a great set at an awesome price but since then we haven't really seen much from MECH iDEAS except for the animated set and Gauntlet which really wasn't theirs to begin with.

    I know MECH iDEAS was/is a subsidiary of MMC to have a cheaper line but I think there can still be life for figures like these.

    I'd love to see MECH iDEAS/MMC go back to releasing these easy, fun and cheap figures. What about you?

    Top Spin and Twin Twist are great figures, their Iron Fist had some problems, but it's still a cool figure. I definitely feel they need to throw something else at us.

    With the slowing down of the Chinese economy, these guys should be able to fill a niche of producing lower priced figures at good quality.

    If they're still around, I'd like to see them tackle the Powerdashers, maybe have 1 basic figure but with swappable parts to make the three vehicles/robots.

    Animated still has a strong following and I find their Techno Toon Titans are an excellent interpretation of the style. Their other figures are all based off of characters from Last Stand of the Wreckers. Sins of the Wreckers is out now which gives more reason to come back.

    I doubt they return. Nor do I care. Another company will have to fill the void.

    I suspect (no inside info) that the Animated set they did was a financial failure

    there were major QC issues with Gauntlet as well, with the thigh snapping off clean

    Their take on Topspin and Twintwist was great. I'd really love to see their take on the Autobot & Decepticon clones. The Autobot clones from X2toys were over designed and just dropped the ball.

    I suspect your right and sadly I don't they they will be coming back.

    I'd love to see Mech Ideas return. They had great designs at fantastic prices (by third party standards) and I just want to see more third party companies produce some smaller-sized figures for smaller-sized characters.

    Maybe they'll come back if you buy all those discounted Toon Titans still rotting on BBTS (;

    I think BBTS dropping it to $30 as a one-day sale and still not selling out is proof enough that it was a failure at retail.

    I'd love for them to return. I wonder if they are in part working on the Mayhem Mekanics line as well? Speaking of which, what's the deal with that line?

    I'd like to see them return, but forget Animated. They tried. It didn't work. Let's move into something more marketable.
