Don't get me wrong Jupiter is aces as they say. But I had low expectations for Asclepius and he crushed them.

Same. I looked forward toward schlepy, but I did go in with low expectations of him. Man, was I ever proven wrong. Asclepius is badassery incarnate :thumb

I gave in to temptation as this guy was on sale at RobotKingdom and I need a good Percy for the Wreckers shelf...

and he is gorgeous. Thought I would regret the purchase. NOPE.

This, THIS should have been the price they needed to release this fig at (this and the Seekers). As great as this fig is, it wasn't $100+ worthy. Regardless, he is PX's most underestimated fig as he is (to me) one of their more better designed ones.

Planet X announced a price reduction for this and Triton on FB. So far only RK seem to have lowered the price on these. No US retailer yet.

Anyone have a good easy solution to give him an IDW-style eye scope?

Has this been selling all right? I've been waiting for some alt color version to come out like Grimlock and Starscream.

It hasn't sold like gangbusters like the other PX figures have, but it seems to have done ok. It's a damn good figure though, and just as good as any of their other releases IMHO.

I believe it sold out and was restocked at BBTS and TCP at least once. It's pretty cool that even Planet X's low sellers still sell out.

Yeah, I'm sure they sold out at least once in those places as well.

I'm a bit late to the party, but I just got this guy in yesterday from the last ebay flash sale. I must say I like it a lot. He is armed to the gills! I am also glad I didn't pay full price. It's great, but like others have said not $100 great

That doesn't mean anything unless you know how many they had to sell to begin with. For all we know, they might have only ordered enough to cover their pre-orders, because they weren't confident in the product. The price drop, on the other hand, is reasonable evidence that this and Paddles weren't as popular as previous releases.

Asclepius is definitely an underrated release like Genesis was originally. It seems to be picking up steam and notoriety months after it's release. If it was more of a featured character in story mode it would not suffer the delayed reaction. Triton on the other hand is a retooled Neptune which is ok, but it's a 6th mysterious dinobot, that a lot of people don't have a connection too. Plus it wasn't featured in the game to my recollection. Honestly I only want the swords for Caelus from the Triton pack.

So this toy is basically best. Ridiculous. All of the stupid. Total overkill. IDW Perceptor has nothing on him. Mugan Scope can now be retired. The Wreckers are checking the size of their guns right now. And me? I'm in love.

An excellent action figure. A blazing modern day Perceptor.

Great figure, But I'm selling a lot of my stuff off, and he made the list.

Sorry for the necro thread, but I'm really curious to see Asclepius compared next to RTS 2011 Perceptor and Titans Return Perceptor. Especially curious to see how their colors match (or don't), what their comparative sizes are, and if the Hasbro figs can wield Asclepius' weapons.
