Yes, it can use refinement, but this is just a render at this point, so there is quite a bit that can be done, even before a prototype hits.

IMO this is a good way to do a cab-only Morormaster, as it still has the truck-cab legs/feet.

I still think the best way to do an updated motormaster is as a cab & box delivery truck.



Would I get it? No, as I have Lonewolf, and he serves nicely as a Classics/CW Motormaster for me. (Assuming it is Calssics scaled.)
This is nowhere close to Geewunny enough for an MP to fit in my collection. (assuming it is MP)
But, even Dwarf-proportioned as it is, I like it a helluva lot better than CW Motormaster.

 

Yeah, he does look like an upsized Huffer, at least in the proportions department.

 

He's a little squat, but not THAT bad. CW compatibility?

 

I love the truck mode, but not really feeling robot mode. I'll be keeping an eye on this project though to see what if any changes are made.

 

I was thinking the same thing, but just for bot mode.
For combined mode it is definitely Lone Wolf for me. All the way

I will say though, that I do like this new one better than HasTak's attempt. That thing is just so hideous.

I dunno. That picture just cements the idea that he looks a bit too Huffer-ish for my tastes. The wide moobs and stomper lower feet/boots certainly don't help.

 

I actually really like how stocky he is. Fits his personality.

 

Well.. then the entire mold is simply not for you as Motormaster.

Apart from some proportional changes and coloring, I pretty much left it the same.

I'm pretty sure most fans aren't so hung up on the idea of him being a cab and trailer that they have to absolutely recreate that aspect of MM - I mean, I'm fine with him being just a damn truck cab.

 

Holy cow! This doesn't line up with my collecting goals so I won't be jumping on it, but I LOVE a the way this looks! Maybe a bit squat, but overall it just looks nice and imposing and makes good use of the truck's mass.

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure most people don't have nipples on their collar bones.

 

If he is a stand alone figure he would be cool. I think its okay to make some of the combiner guys as stand alone figures

 

Wouldn't say the entire mold. I did say I liked the truck cab alt mode. Bot mode just isn't working for me, as others have said. Who knows, maybe RF will see these comments and tweak the figure accordingly.

 

No cab feet? Not on my list. Lone wolf did it for me all the way.
Would of liked a G1 Cartoon face though.

 

Lone Wolf is great, despite most of the opinions. I have nearly every iteration of Motormaster and by far he is the most impressive. Between this and the sketch of TransformMission's Motormaster, My money is going to TM.
