As with all 3D printed parts, there are small amounts of deviation in the printed layers of surfaces. This is unavoidable and the nature of 3D prints. So it is to be expected the surfaces will have small deviation. The exposed outward facing surface, however, has a smoother surface to achieve the best print quality / look.
