WJ recently revealed an early-prototype of their improved version of OS Hound in a Chinese Toy Convention. The designer of these modifications is a customizer named "Black Apple" who also designed Evasion OP 2.0. Black Apple is now well known in the Chinese tf community for his work on modifying official toys' engineering to improve their overall screen-accuracy. Like other BA's designs, this new Hound also strictly follows the principal of all-in-one transformation/no part-forming.
Well Oku, maybe you can see if they have plans for an "about this size" OS DOTM Deluxe Ratchet. If you wanted to, of course. I know it's not AoE, but... I know a lot of people would buy it.
It's impressive how some tweeks can make an already cool toy even better. I hope they'll get the inspiration to do the same for the other movie lines who have toys that deserve the same treatment.
Wow. You know, it's pretty amazing what someone can do with a decent base design and the expertise, experience and dedication to make it even better. I like both Evasion Prime and Hound as-is, but this guy took them to another level. That is seriously impressive work.
Must own. Now upscale and improve 2007 Bonecrusher, another toy that was too small but also a fantastic design with room to grow. ...and 2009 Rampage.
^ THIS!!!!!!!!! So many Cons that need this treatment. I already have the OS Hound, looks like I'm gonna have to sell that one or trade it to the kids cuz I'm gonna be getting this as well. Hopefully this new one will have nice paint and diecast like the 1st version did.
Bunch a haters Why can't the bad guys ever get any love? Don't get me wrong, the OS Prime and Hound are sweet and I'll be getting them but everybody and their Ma wants a Blackout at least. I know I'd want a whole bunch of Cons to either be upscaled or upscaled and improved.
Aw COME ON!! I JUST. BOUGHT. The first version!! Now I have to see if I want this one more!! ^_^ Darn you Wei Jiang!!!!
Looks fantastic! It appears to be the same size as the OS Hound we already have which is nice, albeit a bit small compared to ROTF Leaders.
