I was hoping by "simple version" that meant that Perfect Effect were doing cheaper hands and feet without the transforming into guns gimmick.

Generally pvc is softer plastic, abs is generally what the figures are made of if i understand things correctly

Let us know the quality when you get them. I'm interested because I always like options, but if they're poor quality then no deal for me

So will these be any good. I'm not familiar with the plastic differences.

In my experience pvc with kos is close to shampoo bottle plastic

Normal ABS is usually more rigid and less flexible, it can be more brittle than PVC mainly because it's more rigid. White water pipe is PVC, ABS is Black and for sewer hook ups if that helps for a comparison.

Both can be durable and last a long time.

Really for pvc it all depends on the thickness they go with, schedule 40 pvc is a good thickness for sewage pipe, it's what we use at work and is a good balance of rigidness and flexibility, but schedule 40 is also pretty thick and I've never encountered a ko that used thicker pvc, all the pic kos I've gotten have used closer schedule 10 pvc

PVC is not a brittle plastic by design, ABS is more brittle, but it's still durable unless exposed to UV or extreme heat for long periods. Then it yellows and becomes more brittle.

And shampoo bottles and most cheap ass KOs are Polyethylene, not PVC.

Fair enough, I just know I've gotten some super cheap kos that were flimsy that claimed to be pvc. What we use at work for pvc isn't super flimsy and it's really only brittle in the cold

I actually think these don't transform into weapons. No pics and nothing states that they do. They're just molded like PE which explains the cheaper price.
