I am here at tfcon and just got to handle this guy. He is pretty amazing. Lots of die cast. No parts forming in the transformation either. Proportions are great and the articulation is flat out superb.

That does not look 1:1 with a real cassette.

Maybe they make their Soundwave as well so this guy can fit inside?

There is a pic of the cassette mode in someone's palm. It pretty much was the size of his/her palm. I'd say its 1:1 unless he/she has baby hands.

Size of a regular cassette, but proportions of a microcassette?

I'd put it next to the oversized MP10

I haven't seen a real cassette in years. This guy looks really super cool. He will look good beside MP-Soundwave and Soundblaster. What a sweet idea

Beast mode looks SPECTACULAR, but the cassette mode is more "Folded up box with two holes" than it is "cassette." Looks pretty flimsy in cassette mode, too. That being said, dang that beast mode is pretty much perfect.

It's nice looking, but where will he fit in a collection? Certainly not MP.

Wherever people want it to? I mean, almost every product is designed with some ideal place in a collection (seems to me as if MP was intended in this case, even if the cassette mode is lacking), but people can fit it in wherever they want. Heck, I have a shelf of just random bots from a bunch of series that I just find neat- I can guarantee you Cybertron Cannonball and HFTD Jetblade don't work together, but they're both chillin' out on my random shelf :lol

    Ebay:
They will simply have to design a Soundwave to match.

I haven't seen a Cassette Ravage that parts forms since G1. Not even the Universe Ravage parts forms.

I still listen to cassettes in my house and car. Digital is too empty, i also prefer analog Vinyl to any new format.

Yep. That's what I use for my MP display. MP Ravage is kinda crappy.

    I'll probably get this though.

I would like that one of it hadn't disintigrated in several places...
