Hinted to earlier, these are based on the Mini-Constructicons working for Ramjet in the IDW comics. Should be a TFcon USA 2015 exclusive.

From reading the bio, they are intended to be a partner for Prowl, who misses his Constructicon partners.



Sounds like a 3 pack, and the name are Bonesaw, Scrap Hammer and Pick Maxter.

Back on topic of the figures themselves, I do like the idea of these guys coming with tiny tools for them to use and to integrate into their weapon modes.

I've bought almost all of the MS releases so far, but I think I'll draw the line unless these are a good deal cheaper than their prior packs.

Without any changes, I'm just kind of fatigued from the designs.

This feels like the kind of thing that a BMOG style design could handle super well.

 

I don't think Trent Troop makes homages to TF characters in BMOG.

 

New heads would require new tooling that costs minimum $5,000. Considering there are only 45 sets to divide that cost over, it would make the cost per set increase over $112.

You also have to keep in mind that these show exclusives are just a fun extra built with the spare parts not used on the mass release stuff. Which is why they are so limited in number. There are only so many spare parts left over.
