I was wondering when you'd post this ;)

Looks pretty good from the limited view we have. Nice to have options.

Nice figure, but I wonder what sort of repaint potential it has. Can you paint Octane as ANYTHING else? There isn't even a SG Octane in fiction. No Diaclone, no other character has those alt modes...

I assume he partsforms slightly because of that shield on his arm. :(

Nice. UT Provider will definitely go into my Classics display while KFC Stratotanker will be going into my MP display.

It's a shield/tail. DO you expect it to slide onto his arm from his tail along a track or something?

Looks much better than Unique Toys offering. I need to see pics of the prototype to see though.

    Agreed.

Nope, I would expect a better design that wouldn't require pieces being removed. Ah well, no Octane for me. :lol

This guy definitely looks better than the UT version.

I look forward to seeing proto pics of him regardless of my issues with him so far.

Better that Provider thanks to the wings not being like a plank on the bottom of the plane. Anyone who has been to an airport knows that Jumbo jets like Octane have their wings either above or in the middle of their torsos, something the Classics (HasTak) version got right.

That, and articulated truck hitch. That's awesome.

Same here. I don't mind if it's a part that you can choose whether to remove and use as an optional shield, but if it's just going to come off and not be necessary in the other two modes I'm afraid I'll be likely to wait and hope for an alternative MP Octane elsewhere...

Need to see more though, definitely better than the UT one.

I'll await prototype pics before I make final judgement, but I'm betting there's more partforming going on than just the shield. That truck becoming that jet with no part removal looks nigh impossible.

Maybe the alt modes only look good from that one angle. Who knows. I await proto pics and hopefully they don't lie about the partforming.

AND the tank looks all around better compared to the truck's cab. :)

Wow! Out of nowhere, we have two Octanes on the go! However, I'll wait for the inevitable Takara Tomy release.

    Joking! :p

I think this looks fantastic from what we can see. I don't mind a spot of partsforming at all, especially not if it's just a case of part of the vehicle becoming a weapon. Plenty of other figures do this.

The tanker mode looks cracking. Need to see the 'bot mode in a bit more detail, but if the head is cartoon accurate this may sway me, as that's the major detail I am less sure about on Provider.

I take it this is another masterpiece sized figure?
