What about FP's Steel Core? That's had a couple of runs and each one sold out pretty quickly.

I very much doubt it. He sold out quickly probably because the runs were small, since it's not an established character. 2k tops, IMO.

What about the first run of Hegemon? that went pretty fast iirc. Same with Orion.

Yes three of the best selling third party toys right there ... If I remember warden and hexatron were also in the run for best figure of the year

The original hexatron also sold out in regular and supernova colors and is on it's third repaint none of which are warming shelves

From my POV, FP City Commander , FT Quakewave , FP Bruticus figures, TFC Hercules.
Also, i think the WST figures sold pretty well, but i'm not totally sure

No, no, didn't forget about them, I just underestimated how large our collective fandom is. Regardless, I learned something new :D

I would love to see how much City Commander sold back in the day. That'd be a good comparison to where we were to where we are.

I wonder what percentage of these are purchased by scalpers who are still sitting on them?

I'd say TFC Herc sold pretty well, Warden sold out and is solid in quality, but I don't think the production run was ever that big. MMC Rex probably sold quite a bit though.

I hope plenty, and that they can't get rid of them because of the number of knock-offs! This can teach the hoarder/scalpers a lesson!

People don't read anymore and even if they do, they tend to change it to "best selling 3p toys according to what I think which may not coincide with reality".
