Yeap, when I went to pre-order it the shipping to the U.S. was around $89.00 which isnt too bad for a set like this.

I think the cheapest a US retailer would sell it for 500. Would love to be wrong though

Would be pretty cool if it was but I doubt it. Figure listings would specify that if it were the case.

Well that has no value to me personally but sure would be cool if US vendors were also able to get a similarly good deal for it, but I suspect a big part of why robo has this deal is due to their close ties to companies like toyworld.

Well darn, so glad I pay more for less, and pay extra for the purple barrel and other junk and missing the exclusive new parts   , the joints are flopping and has horrible proportions anyway. I shall never buy other item from this company again, Cosmos and Orion preorder dropped:D  take that.

Yeah they only do pre orders with up front full payment. I've been ordering from them for years no problems but people are right their shipping costs can get pretty steep.

Ironically though sometimes their rrp listings are so much less it either balances out anyway or is a little cheaper overall. Like its cheaper for me to get the yellow figures from them than it is to go through tony's site.

That is highway robbery. Maybe there is something I don't get, but if there are retailers that can ship stuff for free, then there is no reason this can't be shipped cheap. I will pass on this because of principle.

Edit: To add, this and the Fanstoys Omega are the only 2 things I am saving/looking forward for.

The purple drum costs 6.90 in RK and to ship it with registered airmail parcel costs 28 fucking dollars..What a fucking robbery..These motherfuckers are making money off of shipping..Its why i stopped buying anything from them while i used to be byuing from them exclusively

You realize that you pay for the shipping even in free shipping, right? It's covered in the initial retail cost to you. In fact, you pay for the shipping to you and the shipping to them. A company doesn't sell anything at a loss to them.

Robotkingdom has stated up front many times that their minimal shipping costs will always be between 20-25 no matter what you order which is why you should only order small stuff either in bulk or with other larger stuff.

For example I ordered my purple barrel with my Concrete from them and the shipping cost difference between it being there and not was a mere few bucks. And they were the only site that still had some too, so its not like I had much of a choice regardless lol.

Yeah, I will crunch the numbers, but if the result looks nice, I may wind up purchasing these guys from rbtkingdom.

I say that's how you do it. Not knocking other approaches, but rather than complain, I figure let the market speak for itself. You don't like a business' service, no longer patronize them and keep it moving. I will say though that I wouldcut Toyworld a little slack because this was a first for them and for the industry. It's part of the reason that as much as I was a fan of this project, I decided to wait for reviews before being willing to invest such a sum.

Why is that though....I always compare shipping costs and prices when i wanna get a figure and Tony's shipping costs are always lower and i dont get why since both are based in the same area...Also RK supposedly is the biggest online shop in China why cant they offer better prices...Anyway i ve gotten it with the cheap option, which probably gonna take 2 months to arrive but i dont give a fuck. Not paying 28$ in shipping for a purple barrel...not even a full figure!I mean i paid 35 for Stomp for christ sake

I was also just informed that this head will not be available separately. And the G1 V2 is indeed a gift set and will be produced in limited numbers. So take that as you will.

I like that new Devy head, but do I want to double dip on the set to get it?
    Possibly not.

You are not in the minority. Many Chinese fans are getting pissed about this. So it may change.....probably not, but it might?

EDIT: By change, I mean, many V1 adopters are mad that the head will not be available, and are unwilling to purchase yet another set.
