    Update 9/20/2017

    At TFcon USA 2017 it was announced these guys are now a Maas Toys project.

    Update 8/20/2016

    TFNation 2016 had the Speed Team previewed again. No new images, but they did mention they are still coming, and these are the first FansProject toys designed by Cassy Sark, who you may know freelance designed for MMC, iGear, KFC and other companies.

    And here I was thinking of swapping the aquamarine parts from Offroad with the ones from Ironhide, swap heads, and use the red truck (minus yellow/gold stripes) to make a truck-version of Rapido. The hand/feet engine things all cut up would add on perfectly.

    But, no. because Fansproject. Well, we'll see how these guys look.

    I'd been waiting & hoping Fun Pub would make the other three Axelerators, but if FP beats them to tbe punch, I'm fine with that. More G2-anything is good news to me.

    (Now how about G2 versions of the other Stunticons...)

    I wonder if they are combiners or something. Would be neat if they were Combiner Wars limbs that were original molds and didn't suck.

    Hope not---if only because there are just the four of them. Besides, finally having this team at a decent size would be cool enough for me.

    *shrugs* I'm happy with my Botcon Rapido BUT It'd be nice to get the rest of the Axelrators

    Cassy Sark? Well, if these guys fall victim to the strange design choices his previous works have (vertical lines, anyone?), I guess that'll be some money saved for me. :/

    God damn it... and here I was excited for these toys...

    As long as he only engineers the toys, and has no hand in the aesthetic, then they still might be good

    I did eventually get mine done after all. Think I'll stick with this one for now. Open to whatever they come up with, but it'll definitely depend on overall design (specifically, none of that Prime/RID Flatface stuff)

    Thanks for posting pics of the original toys. I had completely forgotten about these and I had (or have somewhere in storage maybe) at least 3 of the 4. In fact my brother and I each had our own Rapido.
