Hmm...is there even demand for this? I mean it might be cool to have a stand alone mp-10 tribute that is the size of mp-01 basically but...its gotta be a niche market. that beign said if the quality is there and its priced right i'd be all over it....but i'm a huge prime fan so....i'm biased

this looks intriguing. scales with the alternators in bot mode, looks like they made his legs longer to be better proportioned w the gorilla arms. these are the guys who made that AOE oversized hound too and that got good reviews. my big gripe according to the pics is the wheels are too small or low to the ground which makes the cab look sunken.

 

I don't have much interest in this but as to the why part...

Am I the only one who collects tons of versions of the characters they like? I don't even know how many versions and sizes of Boba Fetts I own. It just so happens that Transformers never had many versions of their characters that were worth getting to me until the MP line came out. If there had been Apollyon level of design Megatrons available in the past in different sizes, I would probably own them all. I'm just glad that there is now a set scale and level of quality for MPs that I don't have the money or space to go into other scales at this point. Doesn't mean I won't want them but I personally have to draw the line on Transformers at MP scale for now.

 

Exactly. This piece is mostly for the guy who collects optimus prime. But for me this will finally replace my mp01 cause mp 10 is too small for me. Glad i held out all this time!

Yep, that's the only reason I have any interest in this. Some characters i'm just a sucker for. If they did MP10 in ten smaller sizes than the original I'd probably buy those, too.

I'm not certain I'll buy this though. Depends on price I guess, and I wish there was a bot-only option because I don't want that enormous trailer at all. Although....I could use it to store my original MP10 inside of... :3

 

It is meant to be in scale with Weijiang's oversized KO AOE Evasion Optimus Prime, and its trailer is interchangeable with the KO Evasion Prime

I'm intrigued. I actually prefer the original MP scale (Prime, Megatron and the Seekers) to the new one, as they fit better with my BT collection, and this version is essentially the same size as MP-01 and -05. This could work for me. I agree that a correspondingly sized MX-I Apollyon would sell me on buying them both...once they've been released and reviewed.

 

I'd want the MP cars in this size.

Because everyone wants those characters in versions that aren't really great compared to MP-10 style Optimus Primes...Sorry but lol. I'm pretty sure any research would come to the conclusion that a big transforming Prime figure will sell better than both of the ones you mentioned combined.
