Unless this is Warbotron. They are supposedly doing Menasor next but if they showed Devy too fans would complain it's too much and still would get delayed. Cue 'new company' who happens to reveal like Warbo, in the style of Warbo using a Warbo combiner as reference, no complaints. Other than it being another Devy.

Of course I could he way off but something smells fishy to me.

I believe you are looking at the wrong half of the picture, sir. :)

I have my Yellow Giant. I'm happy. Unless someone wants to trade their Green Giant for mine...

I guess if anyone missed the old Devastator competition, this will give them another shot. Hopefully this one will be as good quality, and have all the nice advances in toy tech that we enjoy.

We dont need this...we need a bigger one.If the limps are as big as the Warbortron limps then it means they are pretty much as big as the MP carbots and thats too small. Each individual constructicon on bot mode needs to be at least MP-11 height otherwise its too small...(in my opinion)

6 if you count the TFC and Maketoys recolors and that giant action master! 7 for that Legends one, and 8 will be this. Plus Hasbro has made the Walmart Classic and the upcoming Titan. So that's 10 Devastators, and not one has a cape!

    Hmmm.

Definitely need a Masterpiece Devy, with G1 accurate Constructicons etc, but this doesn't seem to be it.
Yeah, and Scavenger looks almost cube shaped... I think TB may be right and this is a Warbotron-type 'G1 inspired' Devastator. Need to see more.

according to the dinobot wiki page, dinobots are roughly 1/3 the height of Devastator. Since the Dinobots are 10" tall, that means to scale, a MP Devastator needs to be 30" tall. Does anyone even make a Devastator over 20" tall? Serious question.

    Thanks!

Interesting. A Warbotron-ish Devy would be cool to see but I'm not sure another Classterpiece aesthetic/sized version is necessary given the existence of TFC Hercules and Titan Devy. The silhouette doesn't scream full on MP to me with its odd proportions, so it'll most likely be another mixed bag of aesthetics. Hope to see more of this just the same.

Is my Herc looking outdated? Maybe... And since Giant is now on the smaller end of the combiner spectrum, I'll wait to see how this looks with interest.

Tough to get excited over a silhouette but I'll be keeping an eye on this. Sold off my Giant a few months ago due to it's small scale so I need something to fill that gap. Still considering the official release but I won't touch it without some significant 3rd party upgrades to clean it up.

Problem there is the individual Constructicons would be as big as the Dinobots too.....which is way off.

I'd just disregard that, honestly. The individual combiner components are typically drawn with some semblance of scale, but combiners on the whole were often drawn at WILDLY varying sizes. I'd say just go with whatever size you like and is appropriately big. If anything, I'd go by individual robot mode scale and let the cards fall where they may from there.

I am in need of a devastator that has strong joints and toon proportions. This one looks more toy inspired from what I can see but with more detail.

I am really hoping for more of triple changing individual bots. Ones that have a great alt mode and bot mode with MP derail and then a very simple limb mode that aims for height, swivel and blockiness instead of detail.

Not sure if that's possible but would be neat.
