Practicing optimism: maybe they're too busy MAKING the product to have it ready to show off?

Has anyone ever attempted to contact GT via their email? [email protected]

A piece on one of my bots got stressed past the point of no return when they all took a shelf dive (thanks to the cat -_-)! I can't contact BBTS because I bought them quite a while ago, so I just figured I'd contact GT directly. Should be a quick and easy replacement.

My actual question is, do they actually respond to that email? It's what they provided on Facebook. Thanks!

They do, but in a few other's experience, getting parts directly from them doesn't happen. But it doesn't hurt to try.

They wouldn't even ship out the replacement kits directly to their customers who bought Scraper and had decided that was enough for them.

However, with ToyWorld sending mixer barrels directly to customers, they might have changed their tune. They are pretty responsive to emails and are friendly though.

    What part has the problem?

It's just Scrapper's foot hinge piece. Upon closer inspection, I probably could use gorilla glue and it'd be fine. I'll give that a try, but I just thought I'd email them and ask anyway. I sent the email yesterday around 12:30 in the morning :lol  , so they'd receive it over there during the day. But then again, that means it's only been a day since I sent it, so perhaps they haven't seen it yet. Hopefully I'll get a response by the end of the week at the latest.

If anything, this just goes to show how strong the plastic is! It took a ~ 5 ft shelf dive to do anything. The rest of the guy is totally fine!

Ooh, outriggers, that's nice. Looks pretty stupid splayed out like that in robot mode, though. Dunno why they posed him like that. But yes, after a slight hiccup in release schedule, it looks like we're entering home stretch now. Gimme!

And hey, crane boom folds in half now, for those of you that liked to complain about Devastator's "depth".

Not a huge fan of the black control cab, but I can see that it's for the sake of hiding Devastator's noggin, so I'm not going to complain too much.

Obviously, the hole in the pelvis has been retooled to look less prominent.

Does this mean that we're getting Long Haul and Hook at the same time?

That was the implication from their communiqué a few weeks ago, yes. They said that they found another reputable factory so that they could produce the remaining figures in tandem and make up for lost time.

What a nice surprise! Glad that the crane can be detached similar to giant, and like the idea of the outriggers too! Not sure about the facesculpt though. Will he get an extra head like navvi?

Message says that hook is currently in production and ready in August.

I think they had to remove the boom as on earlier shots of GB it was almost flush with Bonecrushers blade, preventing any articulation of the left arm.

Wow, these guys really went the extra mile and I can see why they felt the need to delay the release. This figure went from being uninspired and dull like Bulldozer to a must-have for me.

    Changes I can see:
    - removable crane arm
    - crane arm has a new point of articulation, looks like it will fold down the back of GB
    - new vehicle stabilizers in the shoulder pads
    - fixed crotch hole
    - possible new head sculpt?

Is it actually black or is it just the lighting? Either way, it really doesn't bother me much. Overall, I really like where this ended up.

Wow, he looks fantastic! Totally worth the wait. I did not see the original shot of him, but the "wings" that fold out look sweet, almost have a Gundam feel to them. This may be my favorite one yet, and on top of it, this was the only Constructacon I had as a kid. So, I am going to have a real hard time putting him in combined form. A+ work, I can't wait.
