How can the face be improved? I think BadCubes faces are a tinnnny bit better, but that's aboot it.

It's such a tease though, really wish they would release it as a giftset!

 

IMHO badcube blows these away. Insecticons are the decepticon versions of minibots (more compact, smaller) therefore badcube fits the bill better. The bigger heads, smaller bodies, make them look less like warriors and more like obnoxious pests. Bug mode they REALLY shine. The badcube pics aren't the final paint apps either. They will have a regular painted set and a "high end" version with chromed silver and translucent yellow for the purists.

Final piece that separates badcube from ft is the badbugs are available as a set, whereas ft bugs you'll have a eight months to a year wait between releases.

 

Hopefully preorders go up soon.

 

I know these are masterpiece scale, but I wonder how tall does that make them?? between deluxe and voyager perhaps?

 

I love them, even more than BC ones which i also like, just cant budget any of them I fear... maybe I take it one step at a time, get one, and see. But for me, ft looks better in both modes. Also, I think the die cast will help.

Awesome! I do like Badcube's, but seen in comparison with this theirs just looks too 'Robot Heroes' for my liking. Hope FT show us Kickback soon and don't spread release of these guys out too much  

 

Bombshell is supposed to be released in July, that's if they don't start delaying it, like Xtransbots did Apollyon, so I would say sometime late summer or fall. That's a big Maybe.

 

I don't think any of FTs products as great as they are have come out on time. If things get delayed for the better than fine. I would gladly wait longer for Sever if he came with a better head/face.

Knocked out of the park once again. I honestly don't see how Takara could do any better on MP Insecticons. These look essentially perfect.

Awesome. I like the proportions and how, in insect mode, the arms on the side tuck away and are very clean.

Can't wait to see these in color.

I think i like Badcube's better. There's something kind of lifeless about FT's version.
