both... The hips are loose and the knees are weak. So with his top heaviness he tends to wobble a bit.

I mean it's not bad and doesn't affect combined mode because thank god they have a dedicated elbow for arm mode! But if UT used the same arm designs as 99% of the other combiners out there (robot hips and knees being the arm mode elbow joint), Hagen would have been a problem for sure.

Oh there are screws on the back of the waist/crotch piece. You have to undo the top half which will then release the bottom half of the crotch (where the swivel is). That will allow you to open up the crotch and get to the hip joints.

As for the knees they seem to be pin joints so the only way to tighten them is to add future polish between the joints and let it set.

I didn't get to doing him last night so I'll take pics to show how it's done tonight if you are still stuck.

Just realized that if I pull the elbow joint out, I can get to the hip assembly easier. I was having trouble separating the two hip halves.

    But pics would be great.

no worries. I'll post them tonight. I stupidly did my Siggy without taking pics but following the Hagen process that I'll be posting will achieve the same super friction joint for Siggy's hips (until replacements come anyways).

Though Dr I I did notice the legs are still the original purple. So it doesn't match like the old wings did.

Sorry it's late. I did the fixes on the weekend but was super busy and didn't get around to posting what I did.

So yes taking Hagen's crotch apart is nearly impossible as they are housed inside the combiner elbow joint and locked together via a knarled pin!

But it turns out you don't really have to pull the guy apart to tighten his hips and knees. By extending the combiner elbow down you have decent access to the hip joints. I just dripped a couple of drops of Future floor polish down the joint and moved the joint around to allow capillary action to do the work. Then I just left it over night to set and bam! Tight hips and tight knees! Look at the pics as I point out where to drip the Future.

Because Hagen and Alberich share similar transformations, this method will work exactly the same for Alberich (if he suffers from loose hips and/or loose knees). :thumb
