So, the question is, are these KO, or are they just the original takara ones that they had to scrap when they adjusted the deco?

The printing quality looks way to good for a KO.

The KOs that I have look purple when there is any black at all like in the specs chart.

I would sell my Exhaust in a heartbeat if I knew for sure that a properly deco'd KO is on the way.

The mold is getting KO'd, I'm sure they'll do the exhaust deco. And I'd be willing to guess they'll do the proper deco as I don't think they're going to be worried about PM's lawyers.

I would certainly grab a KO if the deco is on point.

I dont have any KO MP's but I would gladly change that for a proper deco Exhaust. I have the original but I have no problems putting him back in the box.

This is not proof of A KO Exaust, but since Wheeljack is already a KO, it's easy to assume it will happen. I'm curious if they will make it with the proper Marlboro Deco or not.

Suffice to say, cost of an original Exaust will come back down soon enough.

If the KO guys do the proper deco I could see the TT verisons value going through the floor.

I did my moral duty in buying an original, but I'd be so all over a proper colored KO. Prob get two.

Interesting this found it's way out. I keep wondering if an MP coin was ever manufactured, I'm sure a prototype was at least made. I'd love to see the coin for him.

On the contrary to all the guys who think a KO would drive down the value of the original ...

It would indeed initially drive down the demand for the original takara version ... But in the long run it would gradually rise back up in value and possibly even higher...

A proper deco KO would be a nice addition for display ... But at the end of the day it is still a KO and any "SERIOUS" collector would still desire the authentic product.

The controversy & story surrounding it and the fact it is an official product would make it a highly desired piece regardless of how accurate the deco is...

I got nothing against the KO collectors ... Some people are happy with something which simply does its job as a pretty display piece ...

But die hard / serious collectors will always want the real deal .. And that includes myself.

I don't own any KOs as I view them as garbage ... However if an accurate deco version did surface I would probably grab one just for the deco..

But I would always favour the original for its authenticity and the controversial story surrounding it ...

Mark my words ... Keep an eye on them ...

Prices will go down .... But when stock dries up they will begin to rise drastically when all you can find is the KO

Hi! Clearly your new here. From past experience the KO always drives down the price of a figure. I don't see there being a difference here. What you have to look out for is the jerkoffs trying to sell the KO as an original though. In time the price may come back up. But, a lot of collectors will be hesitant to buy because the KO will be out there. Now is the best time to sell your Exaust before the inevitable price drop. Just saying.

The price of the Takara version is already coming down with the flood of ones on eBay. Granted it's not come down to its original price , but still cheaper then it was say , 2 - 3 weeks ago.

I like KO's, and I view myself as a serious collector. Some guys are serious about collecting KO's. If a KO is superior to the original in pretty much every way, how is it "garbage" as you say?

Id love to see 3 KOs 1 in red, 1 in gold, and 1 in green decos... and then one in a red/gold/green deco. :)

Your idealogical blinders must be pretty strong to make you believe a KO would't make the secondary market price drop.

Because people who think their collection is superior can't lord it over the rest of us if they admit that the KO is just as good. They take satisfaction in having something that most do not, and when the KO removes demand for the real thing (and improves on it), the "SERIOUS" collector has to justify why their collection is still superior.

The guy admits he doesn't even own a KO, so he has no clue if they are "garbage". It's just trolling and d!ck-measuring. Let him be smug with his "SERIOUS" collection while we all enjoy our inexpensive, properly deco'd KOs... ;)
