Looks better, but still a pass for me, figure doesn't scale with Classics Voyager Prime.

I think this kit with the boots is meant to scale him with Masterpiece Prime. I think it is a great idea for people who can't afford Apollyon.

Not bad, but they'll likely charge at least $35 USD for it.

Awesome! That fixes those damn skinny legs. Feet might be a bit too big but the result looks good.

Looks like 3P add-on pieces for official releases are making a comeback.

Oh very nice. I'm definitely liking what they're offering here. The back cannon with leg/feet parts really evokes a Handgun Megatron feel.

Looks good. I'd need a Megs go with it though.

Hey, Cheem, could we get that comparison with Apollyon?

    Really liking this upgrade.

Looks good only issue is the narrow torso chest area but measures up to me. Now everyone can have a Masterpiece Megatron lol

There's still the stupid hip ratchets to deal with.

I really only needed the feet, but I'll get this if it's less than $30.

It definitely bulks him up a bit. The feet really do look like oversized booties straight on, however the one in profile looks good. The gun barrel bit is quite nice.

I'm not sure what the point is though. He's already too big for CHUG, and this just makes him taller and bulkier. He's no where even remotely near MP styled, so he doesn't fit that hole either. Especially with Apollyon shipping by the end of the month. He sorta needs a shelf all to himself. It'd be nice if there were replacement ratchets for the hips that offer more finesse, as that was my biggest hang up in this figure. The idea that it's a lower cost alternative to Apollyon in an MP collection... ehhhh. I mean, which large scale MP are you getting for under $150? None of the 3 standard seekers or Soundwave and definately not Quakewave. Not Optimus Rodimus or Magnus. Transistor is right there at $150. And if you're going to spend the money, the leader of the Decepticons should be taking priority right? If you're collecting MP's and $150 price point is breaking you on a figure... I got some bad news for you. If it's that tight, grab the carbots as KO's and use the difference for Apollyon.

He's a great looking Tanketron, and a good looking figure by itself, especially the Takara, but I just don't know where he's supposed to fit in anyone's collection.

soooooo, they're selling you a pile of rubble to remove in alt mode? Really doubt any of that fits when transformed.

    Me too.

I thought I'd pass on CW Megs but now... I'll have to hunt one down.

or for people who prefer the look of CW Megs?

I was considering selling my CW Megatron and going with Apolloyon, but this set might make me keep it.
