Yeah, anything else doesn't really make sense at this point. From all the pictures they certainly appear completed. It would explain all their other cheaper releases jumping the queue infront of the this set.

 

Yeah I suspect so. That Arcee suddenly got released pretty damn quickly.

 

tbh, I wouldn't mind seeing Stormbringer Optimus, Lord Scorpion, and Drift all get bumped up too. All of those are cool figures.

 

Me too, but I'm a little worried that if the Dynobots are not released this year than they are going to start looking dated next to IF's other releases. I don't have Pink Assassin in-hand yet, but the judging from the pictures the jump in engineering between Miko and Pink Assassin is pretty amazing.

Still it would nice to see OP, Scorponok and Drift all released before 2017.

 

It's a bit like MMC's Nova Prime - it was hanging around in development Hell forever and by the time it finally got released it was something overtaken by other releases and I didn't care about it anymore. These are beginning to feel the same way.

I already have the G1 Grimlock kit giving me my Dino fix so He is "done" in my book and I too would actually prefer to see their Optimus and Scorponok released first - I want them more for my own selfish reasons.

Let's see if they get further bumps........

 

Yeah, you're right; we can only wait and see now. Fingers crossed this will be the last bump. I'd really like to own a complete set of Dinobots.

The ongoing delays are getting ridiculous with this set. Just pick a date and stick to it. Don't keep saying next month and then pushing it back again.

 

Yeah, it is frustrating. Did they say why? Did they catch a QC issue?
At least they communicated this time. Unlike last year when IF and DX9 just missed all their shipping dates. I appreciate that a lot.

 

I'm wondering if it might ship late Sept and arrive in Oct so they are advertising it as Oct since that's when it will be available.

Could be a ton of different things. A major shipping company just declared bankruptcy and stopped shipping. Factory may have had higher than expected defect rates, which required them to redo figures, pushing back releases (and that could have been molds, inexperienced workers not letting plastic cool long enough in an attempt to speed up production, bad handling during assembly, and on and on). Could have been mistakes in painting. Packaging might have had an error which delayed everything. And a delay at any one step means having to reschedule (and almost certainly further delay) the next step.

Manufactured goods are a nightmare of interlocking dependencies and failure points. It's amazing anything comes out on time, ever.

I remember that fear. Wasn't it the first review of the prototypes where the reviewer had no instructions? Then someone else posted a bunch of photos showing knees. I like the ax with Slag. It fits his personality.
This set will be a lot of fun.
