I wanna start of with saying that I have been collecting transformers for some time now and I have dealt with most of the providers that support us collectors. However beeing an international collector (outside the US) it's harder and sometimes more expensive for us to collect. I can say atleast for me, during most of my collecting all retailers have been more then generious when I have had issues until now...

If for some reason this is the wrong forum for this topic i deeply apologize.

It startred when I ordered Huff (from what is now Badcube), we all know that this figure is fragile so I was kinda in the fence of ordering it. I found it of robotkingdom.com (which I have ordered from previously), so I gave it a go.

When it arrived however, it all looked fine but then i opened it the leg was totally broken of, the chest was loose just to mention some of the issues. I recived the package on the 30th of september 2014. The same day I made a complaint to robotkingdom.com

The 3rd of october I got a mail asking for figures (which ofc is fine). I replied the same day. On the 12 of october I still had not head anything back from them so I tried them again. On the 13th of october they said they would contact the manufacturer to make sure I get replacement parts, "Great I thought".

By the 1st of november I contacted them again, since I had not heard anything with no reply, so I by the 19th I tried again, which they replied the 20th of november saying "they are still waiting for the parts".

By the 29th of november I contacted them again since I felt some time has passed and this issue was not yet resolved. They replied the 1st of december that "they are still waiting". So i waited...

I contacted them 6th of january aswell as on the 13 of january without any reply now. It seems they dont intend to resolve my issue which I think is sad. They had the opportunity for over 4 months now to make me a happy customer but it seems that its not in there intrest.

I wanna warn any1 else thinking of buying from this website. This is rly unfourtunate, but I would like to be able to spare any1 else going through the same that I have.

I hope I have not stepped on any1's toes here but I felt its good to leave feedback when retailers who pretend to aim at collectors kinda missbehaves.

    Best regards
    Brewtality

That might be the case, but why would they then tell me that? Isn't that a bit missleading information? The fact is that it has taken over 4 months with little to no reply which is bothering me...

Saying its "not their fault" makes no sense since I am not dealing with Badcube I am dealing with robotkingdom.com

This is the reason I use BBTS. I got huff from them, he was in excellent shape besides not having a head. Emailed them and had a head for him that week.

You wouldn't be the first person Robotkingdom left hanging on an issue with a 3P item.

In my experience, they are a lot more co-operative when the prospect of a Paypal dispute is looming over them.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I've had two issues (out of many orders) with broken or missing pieces and they responded quickly and resolved my issues immediately. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. So this seems out of character to me.

I know it's a pain, and you shouldn't have to keep contacting them, but I wouldn't lose all hope just yet. Keep on them.

4 months is ridiculous I haven't used the but it sounds like in the information you wrote, that they hope you will just give up and go away.

Yeah, RK is amazing with getting things fast and having it work out cheaper for a lot of us non-US members, but sadly their customer service is a bit infamous. I order all my Hasbro stuff from them and haven't had a problem yet, but this isn't the first time I've heard of them treating customers in a mediocre fashion. You have my sympathy!

For anyone with a similar problem, I would file a PP dispute before the window closes. Any store can get overwhelmed with QC issues given some 3rd party track records (KRonos anyone?) so you have to stay on top of them.

The best way to do that is filing a claim. Worse comes to worse, you'll have to mail the figure back but that isn't a big deal. I'd rather be happy than own a figure I have to buy twice.

This is why I'm happy to pay a little extra somewhere else to get better customer service.

At the core this situation might not be RK's fault but to leave someone hanging on for four months with very little and vague communication is absolutely ridiculous.

    proof reading is fun*

    anyways.. that sucks.

when the original MP03 was released, i bought it from robotkingdom.com.. when it arrived, one of his index fingers was missing.. i contacted them, they got in touch with takara, and they mailed me an entirely new hand. so.. the one time i've had a problem with them, they fixed it in a timely fashion.

i HIGHLY doubt your experience is a typical experience.

Give him a break man. He clearly stated he's from outside the US, so English may not be his first language.

Why didn't they just ask for the figure back , and send you a replacement? I stick with U.S. based shops for this one reason though. Have never had a single problem when it has come to returns or missing parts.

Sounds to me like they were stringing him along until the Paypal dispute option lapsed...then once it did, no more replies.

If that's not the case and you (the OP) can still file a dispute, do it, and only close it once you actually see the replacement in hand or the refund.

That's why I've quit using RobbyK...too many examples like this. Their service sucks and their prices after shipping to the US are only marginally better at best.

RK should not have made you wait that long, OP. They shipped a defective product, between you and them, the liability is 100% theirs. They should run after Cubex, as is their right, but it has nothing to do with you.

Still, if something like this happens again, as Chris said above, if things are still unresolved near the end of the Paypal claim window, file a claim.

Robotkingdom, if you're reading this, do the right thing and refund OP's money.
