That SDF-1 is a thing of Beauty and I hate chibi toys.

The Makuros is one of the most handsomly crafted toys* I've handled this year, and Metroplex is a favorite character of mine so I am very much looking forward to this release. I assume the Ultra Magnus will be non-trnasforming just like the little VF-1 figures that came with the Makuros.

*Seriously, the Makuros is really, really fantastic. Definitely what I would call a 'high end' toy. If you have any love for the SDF-1 or any interest in it, I highly recommend it.

I have the Makudos, and it is extremely well painted (very professional), and it looks very good. Plastic quality is very good too, and tightness.

Hmm, if Metroplex is similar height as Makudos and similar price, I may just consider it very seriously. Toy World better hurry up if they got something planned after Fortress (or do Omega next ;) . As for Ultra Magnus, not sure, cause I was planning on the Iron Factory Minimus, but lets see what MM has also ;) .

Edit: Oh wait, it is a set, so both Metro and Magnus on the same box, like what they did with the SCD-1 and VF-1. So this may mean that Magnus is not transformable, which is fine by me. Summer 2015 though.... hmmm

If Master Made wants to make SD versions of all the citybots (Metroplex, Fort Max, whomever), I will happy buy them all and never care again about any other versions of these figures.

I will try to keep this thread updated with any latest information I get. As of now FB https://www.facebook.com/Lunartoystore is the best place to get latest information for this figure

Indeed, hopefully Master Made will specialize in SD city bots and transforming capital ships.
And not necessarily just from Macross and Transformers.

Oh god...a Master Made SD Iron Gear with little chibi Xabungle and Walker Gallias...unnnnngggghhhh.......

I don't think my heart could take it. I'm already phasing out half of my non-SD Gokins in favor of SD versions as it is already.

Hope their Macross SD Monster will be out before, cause summer 2015 is still a long way ahead ;) . I really love my little SD vf-1, they are fun and nice.

That's quite a cool looking SD Plex...
Would prefer a G1 toy interpretation rather than the Generations version tho... Nice looking bot nonetheless.

Um.. why are the proportions so smashed with a giant head? I'd this a type of theme I haven't heard of?

How big is their SDF1? Just assuming Metroplex will be similar in size.

SD = Super Deformed. There are TONS of SD figures, artwork, etc out there if you want to see other examples. The smashed proportions with giant head describes them all perfectly. IIRC Perfect Effect is releasing SD Scorponok and Fort Max, and I believe there was a SD Jazz a couple months back.

See pic attached. They said Metro will be bigger than highest point of SDF-1 I think.
