Looks better than Toyworld's, especially the color. But I need to see and hear more, especially this being a newer company. Toyworld is one of my favorites when it comes to design and quality.

 

Two of my favorite third party companies making astrotrains? Yep I'll take one of each.

I'm definitely liking this. Will be nice to have an Astrotrain that isn't dwarfed by Blitzwing.

 

Yeah sadly I must agree - much as I'd love a MP Astrotrain neither of these offerings hit the mark. If we could have this one's bot mode and size, with the alt modes from the other one, then we'd really be talking. But as of now, guess I'll have to wait and hope for someone else to throw an Astrotrain in the ring...

 

I think I'd prefer this for my classics Decepticon display instead of MP.

 

I love them both for different reasons, happily going to buy both.

 

I think I'd prefer Voyager to Ultra size. I want him to stand next to Generations Blitzwing, not MP Megatron.

 

Hilarious how often this seems to happen. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, I love choice, but it does seem crazy how often they decide in unison to put out a character or set.

 

When companies compete, we all win. If they are pushing eachother for price, design, etc - it can only benefit us. Not sure which I'll get, if either, but I'm glad the market is there and companies are trying.

 

Yeah, it looks like I'm skipping on both Astrotrains so far. For my collection I need one that's MP scaled and in the same style.

 

This is awesome but that gun is all sorts of wrong. Where's his bag ass ion displacer rifle?

 

It certainly looks better than Devilstar, except for the questionable hip articulation.

I like that robot mode, but I want MP Astrotrain to be a bit bigger than 9 inches (rounded down). Also not feeling too MP to me either, but then again still a prototype. Now to wait for the price reveal.

 

Nice look by Generation standards - but I'm holding out for an official Masterpiece. Astrotrain got too much G1 screen time for it not to be a strong contender for Takara, and wouldn't be barred by the weird design patent history that Shockwave had.

 

Love the colors and the head on this one more but the chest isn't exactly accurate isn't it? For some reason I always think that the spaceship "tail" has to be Astrotrain's chest.

I like how this guy looks, however he's not really a MP to me.
