I will list all the differences from what I have seen from my two.

Chest Dimples, least on this one are gone.

Paint is crisper. Same color, just looks as though they found a better way to apply it. Also no scratches any place on him.

Head is no longer overly tight to turn. Also easier to move in and out when transforming.

Everything tabs together more snugly on this one.

His arms, I took apart to see why they seemed tighter with little hang. The Ball Socket was re-cut, and where it sits in is much more snug. I put a coat of tamily clear on it just to be safe, and it is almost as tight as mine with the replacement on, but is not so tight it might break.

Feet, and heals are more snug. They used different pins from the looks of it.

Cannon now sits flush to his arm. No more gap.

Transforms a little smoother. If you put the head in after you move the arms for transformation, the chest doesn't stick.

Peg in the waist area are not so hard to get into place now and hold his legs firm in bot mode.

You can pick him up by his arms now and they don't just up and pop off.

Those are what I have noticed so far. I know I am missing something else, but can't think of what. If I see anything else I will update y'all.

    Best Regards,

Those are good to hear about, though I doubt I will get a v2 since I already have v1. The cannon sitting flush is especially nice - was there ever a fix for that with the original release? It's annoying.

When I looked at the two. It seems they made the hole a little longer. If you look where it folds down to sit, that little screw area. Might be able to just sand it down for the fix.

let's see what seems fixed on my v2 compared to what v1 guys are saying

    - no chest dimples
-scratch on bottom of chest. not a huge deal
-one thumb is loose and one flies off if i move it too much. hands are kinda small and dainty lol
    - his fusion cannon pops off super easy. not good.
    - arms like to pop off. where are the extra shoulder joints at?
    - his waist will not tab in, like, at all
    - chest window flops around and is very loose

Got my v2 today. So far I've only transformed him into gun mode, but he feels way nicer than the v1 that I had.

BBTS had told me in email that this shipment would be the same as the first one, but it's definitely different. Aside from all the things listed above, I've noticed that the peg by which the scope attaches to Apollyon's arm is now gray plastic instead of white, and it's tighter than it was on v1.

The problem on my v1 that made me return it is that the rivet that was holding the swing-bar that attaches the leg assembly to the rest of the figure was coming loose. That RIVET is now a SCREW! Brilliant!

Oh! Also, the kibble on the inside of the leg is tighter in both modes. In the attached picture, you can see that there's a little rectangle in the center where the silver panels meet together that the panels kind of peg into. Holds the whole thing together a little better.

EDIT: I realized I was wrong; that little rectangle was actually present in v1 and I didn't realize it. I had thought that was a remolded piece, but it's not.

So there are most definitely changes made. Hence the whole " first an second run are the same " theory is all BS. It's good to know that XTB's early bird prices are for there shitty prototype figures . Didn't they do this with Citizen Stack figure as well as there transistor figure ? This company is seriously shady as hell.

No. I understand you got a shit figure. My V1 isn't all peaches and cream either. But the other fixes done to this figure were noted to them AFTER the first run was sent out, when the masses had him in hand.

They made a few poor choices. But if you had a V1, you could contact any of your retailers and get it swapped for the V2.

They are trying to get things right the first time. And came pretty close with this figure. As they go along they are getting better. So I will be buying from them again. Unlike some they are truly trying. Most 3P are like, eh fuck em and that's the end of it, and them in the long run.

I see far more good coming from them then you do. And I know it is because you were screwed on your purchase. And for that I am sorry. Just exchange it, this one is great. He is well built, and well put together. I have transformed him a total of 32 times already back and forth testing him. Nothing has came loose. Nothing has came off, and nothing has broken or chipped.

My V1, I had issues from the first transformation, and more and more until I stopped messing with him. This one to me, is now Masterpiece worthy. Just don't give up on a company that is improving with each figure. That is how so many things that can be so awesome end so early. Just my thoughts mate.

thanks for the feedback on your v2 optimus dime.

that really cements it for me. they can keep their $10 EB discount. I'll cancel Scourge/Cyclonus pre-order and wait for v2.

People who thought there wouldn't be a diff between 1st and 2nd run are fooling themselves. This is XTB/KFC....which have in the past made tweaks to their figures in later runs. Also, the price hike was also somewhat of an indicator that 2nd run would have improvements, and they announced a 2nd run before the 1st run was released. And I know there are several people here who said they'd gladly pay an extra $XX amount to get a near flawless figure with QC worked out, and this is what the 2nd run is.

Don't hate on XTB/KFC. Anyone who follows 3rd party threads know their practices. You need to be a smart buyer. Warbotron is the same. And I do like how these companies continue to make improvements to their figures based on feedback. Sure, it sucks for the early adopters, but I guess these early adopters get sucked in on the early bird discounts.

So basically what you're saying is, unless it's FT, wait for the 2nd run to come out?

Thanks for the update, Optimus Dime. Hmmm, let me e-mail TFsource and see if I can exchange my v1 for a v2 and maybe pay the difference? I've heard that TFsource hasn't been great about returning e-mails though?

Well, if it's true that V2 has a different feel and modifications, then perhaps I will contact BBTS and ask for a swap. I'll pay the difference if they want me to.

Please update with BBTS's feedback. I would like to know if they would swap, but I can't see them doing this as it was no fault of theirs.
