Well... We're not sure where to put this. We're a new toy company made up from several former Hasbro employees and a few friends with experience in the toy business. We've named a few people involved and plan to name a bunch more in the coming weeks.

Now, we don't consider our debut work to be 3rd party, BUT several people have mentioned to us that our designs do appear to be inspired by some G1 Pretenders... We at PWTToo would rather let the fans decide.

The figure itself does not transform. It does feature interchangeable weapons, heads, hands, 5mm ports and each figure will come with a Tech Drone. The Tech Drones do transform.

We will show some more details this weekend at Retrocon. I think we'll also show off one of our monster guys...!

I guess we'll show that in detail at Retrocon. The Tech Drone comes apart and becomes weapons for Astroblast - a blaster, shield etc... It will work with any 5mm port system.

Also the heads are interchangeable and will work with most 6" figures from multiple brands/manufacturers.

Not seen, Astroblast also comes with a whip!

I am excited to see more. This looks really promising.

(Personally, I'm not sure this is considered 'Transformers 3rd party' much like Tobots and Biklonz are not. The design shown so far looks original enough to stand on its own.

I am intrigued, and watching. This looks like a good start... Could represent a different faction in a mechanoid war. Do you have any fiction that will be accompanying these?

but something about that design REALLY catches my eye.

Plus the experience of the people involved is giving me high hopes for this company.

This is what the whole third party scene has to eventually evolve into (even if this specifically doesn't transform). I'm very intrigued as to how this goes.

 

I'm not particularly interested in a Scuba-man... but maybe some of your other designs will be more to my taste.

I am 100% interested in american designed collector-level toys becoming a thing. It seems like everything interesting I buy is from Japan or China! I look forward to your future announcements and wish you luck.

And make sure you come back here and wave at us if you develop a line of shape-changing or combining robots/vehicles/mechanized animals. That is sort of our bread and butter here.
