Looks like they were both posted at the same time (1:41 AM EST my time).

And also TJ's title is more complete. I'm sure if he wouldn't have typed in "Not-Abominus" it would have beat his time by a plausible 1 minute.

 

Looks amazing.

But i'm still iffy on the plastic quality of UT's stuff. I know that each release has improved upon the last though, so I may be willing to give them a shot.

How tall are Quantron and Warbot's Computron?

 

Quantron is about 28cm/11inches tall and Warbotron's Bruticus is about 17.8 inches. And UT not-Abominus' 37cm is roughly 14.5 inches (14.56694 to be exact).

 

Wow the more I look at it, the more I like it. It doesn't have the elbow gaps either.

I think i'm gonna bite on this guy.

As excited as I am to see this fig (and I too have waited a long time for this one, Deceptigtar  ), I'm actually going to wait some more. Seeing how we've seen that more than one company take a crack at gestalt teams lately, I'm very curious to see who else steps up to the Abominus ring.

Honestly, I have their Mania King, and THAT'S at least good, so I think the main thing holding me back from this may be aesthetic... I really like my anime Gestalt Teams.

I'm with C/F. I'm pretty much waiting for a week from now when the next two not-abominuses are shown.

LoL. Here's hoping it comes out well.

 

UT hasn't been that bad, have they? Their version of Galvatron (both 1st release and Vintage) is pretty solid, so is their version of Cy-Kill (Salimoore looks BOSS), as well as their Sharkticons. Their DX9 OP armor set for Evasion Optimus looks promising too.

All said though, I will still wait. UT just dropped the challenge glove: "We're making Abominus, bitches. Who will step up as well?"  

 

I am sure it will. I have their Warlord and nothing but happy with it. And their Mania King and Splinter is nothing but awesomeness

 

Alot of people were really and I mean really Critical of their Warlord.

 

My main beef with it was the INTENSE parts-forming. Now, with Abominus and his MASSIVE chest-plate, it's kinda needed to some degree. But don't make half the torso out of gestalt-only kibble like War Lion...

 

There have been too many combiners and are too many on the horizon for me to care about this. I'm stepping away from combiners for the time being until something amazing happens - this isn't it.

Looks good but could be something take away the name and brand and it could be from any 3rd party.

 

Need to see a lot more details on this before I comment. War Lord was a sorry mess to me.

So.... is this another Cassy Sark design? Come on, fess up.

This looks pretty good. I just hope UT steps up to the challenge QC wise. Their Sharkys were cute little buggers that were plagued with annoying issues (misaligned halves, loose joints).

 

I'm glad UT finally revealed this guy, quality should be good too so I'll be happy to support UT and buy this.

UT has upped their QC with each new release, Cykill is solid and high quality plastic.
