Finally found a Mario with decent paint apps (he actually became pretty scarce at retail for a while). I wish his legs could move forward more, but other than that he's pretty cool.

I'm ready for Samus now, though.

I went through a lot of Yoshi's before I finally found a good one. :lol

But I have joined the "why is he smiling?" crowd. I want a Mario who isn't smiling. I'm even considering unloading this one.

Honestly, the smile doesn't bother me. Sure, it isn't ideal for a Smash Bros. display, but Mario's smiling more often than not. Could also be because I'm playing 3D World right now.

Anyone into the Microland sets? I saw TJOmega's review of one a while back, and finally picked one up to check out. Got the small Acorn Plains set with floating blocks, pop-up launcher, warp pipe, Squirrel Mario and (of course) a Goomba.

I think it is a pretty neat playset system, with the puzzle-piece bases and simple gimmicks, and at a fine pricepoint. Haven't been able to find any of the minifig packs yet, unfortunate 'cause I kinda want a Yoshi and Luigi now, along with some more enemies for 'em. Like a whole horde of Bob-ombs.

If I had any quibbles, it's that the minifigs don't stand up very well, and being so small and light they're very easy to knock over regardless. A bit of bluetack will fix that though, and otherwise even one little set is a fine desk toy.

I'm surprised there's not more talk on this thread about all the new reveals. Although Diddy Kong may be a tad bit big...Still some great stuff coming out that I know I'll be getting!

Apparently these aren't gonna come out until Spring, so I'm saving my excitement until then (need Samus, dammit!).

Samus looks like shit. Definitely picking up both 6'' figures and Diddy though.

Looking forward to almost everything but Diddy Kong. Never really got into that character.

"In scale to each other within their franchise."

Well, that's kind of the nail in the coffin for my interest... That means across all of the series they're doing, they don't want them to go together. And that's a real shame to me. (Although I haven't picked anything up yet anyways... Wario was tempting and Diddy looks great.)

At this price point I'm not worried about scale at all. Keep pumping them out Jakks.
Wind Waker Link, Wind Waker Ganondorf, Skull Kid, 6" Metroid, Let's Go!

I wonder how Fox and Brainstorm's alt mode will look like together. :)

Full slate for 2015 has been announced.
New Nintendo Toys from Jakks Pacific are Coming in 2015

Trouble in paradise with a four inch OOT Link but a six-inch Skull Kid. Hopefully an indication of six inch Link?

Microland is expanding to Zelda, so there's another reason they'll be impossible to find.

Sincerely hoping that the mini version coming with Fox isn't the only Arwing we get. Even if it's not full scale with the figure, I'd like an Arwing that's a little bigger.

Finally, if the Gravity Suit Samus is the one getting the morph ball, then what's the regular color Samus getting? A Metroid? Some kind of effect part?

Oh wow, I've been able to resist the Microland Mario stuff (even though it looks fantastic) but I'm just too weak when it comes to Zelda. I'm imagining a mini dungeon floor out of the first game, complete with pixelated rupees, Link, baddies, a Triforce....*drooool*

And why is Skull Kid getting such a large figure? I don't care about the scale discrepency so much, just wondering why he of all characters gets chosen for the large scale. And a 6" Yoshi seems a bit superflouous when there are 4" Yoshis clogging the pegs (around here at least).

    Man this toyline rules!

I did not know about the micro Zelda stuff. That's going to be extremely tempting.

Damn. This Mircroland stuff wasn't even on my radar, but Zelda sets? Especially if they give love to the original game, like you suggested? Yeah, I want that.

Preordered Ganondorf and Metroid on bbts. Looks like Diddy might be a little tough to get. No individual preorder for him.

Not sure how i missed it before. Was playing around with Link and noticed he isn't left handed. Tryed to switch the sheild, but the straps won't allow it. I've never seen Link as a right hander before.

As far as I know, it's only in the Wii games, since the motion controls have to accommodate for largely right-handed players.

Also, I finally got the Link from this line myself and he feels really loose in a lot of areas. Yet, I haven't really heard any cases of really poor quality on these before, anyone else have a floppy Link?

Mine isn't really "loose," it's just that his shield is damn heavy.

Nothing particularly loose on my Link.
