Yep. They're still paper, you just don't have to cut them out.

Well my younger brother just snapped the peg that holds the Chief's elbow together. Any way I can contact Bandai for replacement parts? I really don't want to return this figure, so any fix is appreciated.

EDIT: Just contacted Bandai for replacement parts. Hope they don't cheap out like Hasbro did when I asked for replacement Kre-O parts.

EDIT: Fixed it by adding superglue to create some friction in the joint.

Found Master Chief. I'm really impressed with the detailing.

Pacific Rim deserves it... in MASTER GRADE!

I'm hoping since they're making three armor types (characters) and skill grades for Halo we'll see the MkV armor.

Maybe, if this is successful, we'll see a rebirth of Gundam figures in the USA again.

Hmm. Never heard of these but I love DC comics. Let's see what they're doing...

Batman, Batman, Batman, Batman, Superman, Superman, Batman AND Superman, and the Joker.

    Nevermind. :(

The pricing of these things is odd. It's actually cheaper to import the LBX kits.

And from what I can see you're getting more kit for your cash with importing the LBX series but the Master Chief model is something else!

Speaking of MC, I'm beginning my project of this 'quick' build. I started using a typical GM01 fine-point black Gundammarker to detail it, but I decided to scrap use a GM03 BROWN ink pen instead.

The black ink around the middle of the chest isn't final, I'm using it to frame in my borders.
I'm still working on a drab-forest green color recipe for the raised plates I'm painting, it's still coming out too bright.

I think you'll be pleased with the final kit. Make sure you paint in the missing parts of the undersuits, like on the chest, and the battle damage on the chest.

I did a photoshoot with Sarah Palmer. She looks kickass shooting at anything.

Nice work on Palmer, are the red details pre painted or is that all you? If so, more Awesome!

Working on mine, I think I came up with a good color combination.
Testors Model Master Acryl Gloss Green (for tint), Aircraft Interior Black (base), and Dark Green (shade) works pretty good.

I made just enough to cover all of the spots I wanted to paint while the rest of the parts are on the runner. For all of the under armor areas, I think I'll go with repainting all of it even the areas molded into the gray plastic..

I wish. They're the included seals. I'm thinking about buying another one and not applying the ones on the shoulder and the knee.

I'm digging the two-tone effect on your Chief. Will you also be painting the finger armor on the hands?

Oh yeah. This is going to be fun.

I'm also working on painting the weapons too.

    @GEEK VID

That explains where those LBX kits that have been out already out in Japan are scaled at. Digging the size ofthe Level 3 Chief too.. I just want a Mk V armor next!

Yep. I was gonna do silver on the Magnums for Palmer, but I decided to personalize them with a titanium-white. Adding pant to the weapons really does wonders.

No joke! I'm going for subtle screen accuracy with the three tones of dull silver, gray, and black. I already tapped the gun barrel of the Assault Rifle.

Those Halo kits look more like robots than suits and the proportion is not so great either, kinda stumpy.
Still, they look pretty fun to build and mess around.
Maybe I will pick one up when they go on sale.
