But then I would have to buy a plane ticket down to Argentina, hotel cost, food, take time off from work. Just to get a pirated copy of a PS2 game -Shifty
I'm curious...is it possible for US PS2 owners to modify their sets to play pirated games? In my country, pirated games have been completely wiped out. I buy original games because my buddies told me that pirated disks tend to cause greater wear and tear on the PS2 lens.
Pretty sure it's possible, would'nt recommend it though. There's probably a hidden market for it somewhere. Recieved the little Might Gaine yesterday. I actually ordered another fig (from liqdeal) but he said he could'nt find it so sent me this one (w 5% off) instead with giant ko on right
Ah I see how this works. Chaos Muffin is spending LigerPrime's money! I could use a sugardaddy like that
LOL! You got it wrong dude! Lately, I have been tempted by Chaos Muffin's display of Brave robots that I have been looking aroind ebay and my import shops for them! There's something about the appeal of the Brave mecha...so blocky and cool and the same time!
I can't compete! Sigh...after getting the Takara's version of GGG, I'm thinking of picking up the Shadow Dagwon! Blast you Chaos! I was initially thinking of picking up CM's GGGG but I prefer my bots to be more durable. Oh yeah, just managed to secure a Takara GoldyMargs from a local import store at...US$35!
Terrific on the Goldymarg - I think mine was around that much as well. I'm finding myself itchy for more Brave items, but I've got all the DX toys and am now tempted to move into the STD versions. I've never had one in hand, but know they're scaled down, both in size and complexity. Any ideas on where I should start with them?
Hmmm, initially I was interested in the std versions but after comparing them with the dx versions, I changed my mind. E.g. std GaoGaiGar vs DX GaoGaiGar.
The STD versions aren't a patch on the DX ones. My STD Super Guardion is nothing compared to his big brother, though I love them both.
Only have one of the minis (last one posted) and to be honest, think I'll stick to the DX's If I already had all the DX's though id atleast go for that STD Might Kaiser Gaine and maybe a few more. They're waayyy smaller, but they make the DX's look even more badass. Plus mini Devastator is cool so why not collect some mini Braves. Still need a DX Avenger for Goldran. Still not decided on the trainbot itself though
Advenger is a nice one. Lots and lots of guns, plus he's got a nice link up mode with Captain Shark - the Cap'n uses him as a huge bazooka! Plus, Advenger comes with three carriages for Gorgon, Leon and Kaiser, and the Silver Knights. He can perch Sokrage on top and he can stow Dran in the back, so essentially he can make a huge train a lot like the fully linked up Brave Express I posted. EDIT: Oh, and the design rocks too. He's not nearly as simple as he might look, there's a lot of folding panels and rotating sections that completly hide the robot mode. Certainly one of the nicer stand alone pieces in the Goldran series.
I had Battle Bomber out yesterday and had forgotten just how nifty he is. I think he, Liner Dagwon, and JRX/Rail Racer make a pretty neat trio. There was some speculation at one time that Rail Racer & Landfill were potentially carry-overs from an abandoned Brave line following GGG. Does anyone know if there's anything concrete on this, or was that mostly speculation due to the similar design asthetic?
I dont buy it. those two are way too detailed and posable to be braves. *looks at volfogg* *looks at landfill* ...yeah.
By the way guys, do you think its possible for Takara to produce a Master Piece GaoGaiGar? Or they have lost the rights to CM?
Takara can't lose the rights, it's their creation. I THINK all non-takara brave products have been licensed from Sunrise, who owns the rights to the shows. So CM and the other companies just go to sunrise and get the toy rights to the characters animation appearance, more or less. it's not the first time Sunrise has done something underhanded like that. I hope Takara does a MP GaoGaiGar. I hate the off-brand GGG stuff. They're not posable (not from alck of joints, they're just too heavy), and they're way too expensive (a bit fragile too, from what I've heard) I know Takara could do a perfectly show accurate version, have it be posable as hell, as well as keep it moderately affordable.
